I just realized that Naruto doesn't have that wrap over his eye. Where did Yamato and Kakashi go? I know they were with him, but where did they go? I don't get why Ino is crying over Sasuke. Does Sasuke even know that she exists? I just hope this opens up the path to just giving up on returning Sasuke and just killing him, but I somehow doubt that will ever happen. I wonder what Zetsu and Tobi are planning. A little hide and seek with the Kages and Sasuke? I lol'd when Zetsu came out of the ground yelling HELLLLLOOOO!! | ||

But I think I am starting to think that the original genin (shikamaru, sakura, hinata, naruto, blah blah blah) are coming to the conclusion that THEY need to kill Sasuke, or else they're going to further create imbalance in the ninja world. But at least the plot is finally building up again from that little calm we had between Pain + Naruto fight and now. Anyway to clarify with everyone, Shisui was one of those characters that was briefly mentioned in one of Sasuke's flashbacks of Itachi. It was said that Shisui killed himself and wrote a suicide note, but many of the Uchiha law enforcers were suspecting Itachi did it and used the sharingan to copy Shisui's handwriting for the suicide note. Now this is where it gets weird, Itachi later admits it to Sasuke that he killed Shisui because he claimed one needs to kill his best friend to obtain the mangekyo sharingan (which itachi got apparently). But I'm starting to question how Itachi killed Shisui and at the same time Danzo was able to obtain the Sharingan since the Uchiha law enforcers found the body and everything... There better be a twist to this because every other conclusion i can think of is really lame. | ||

Did you miss an episode or something? It's just, I'm surprised he got it because I thought the Hyugas loved those eyes so they would protect them in any and all ways possible. I know Kakashi and Yamato are with naruto, but where are they now? They haven't appeared in the recent chapter, and Naruto is looking pretty emo. =( | ||

Especially since Itachi shortly after killed his whole entire family, basically anyone who would notice the grave pillaging of Shisui. Basically, I could see how it happens. Given how the manga is going, the question in my mind is if Danzo is Shisui. I dunno, Danzo could have been a much better villian. Although the byukugan and sharingan are powerful eye techniques and it does make sense that people would be after them (say you desired a eye and killed someone with it, it would make sense that one would try to take it), it's annoying that Kshimoto is giving them out like tic tacs, basically ruining their exclusivity and a great deal of their coolness. Naruto probably healed and Kakashi and Yamato are probably scouting or gathering information, probably not Jiraiya style. Ino crying over sasuke was just...I really felt like there could have been a much better premise for bringing Shikamaru and crew to the Samurai village. | ||

A jinchuriki in control of his beast (especially a talented ninja) is the most powerful force in the Naruto universe, except maybe Madara (who is immortal?). So far the 8-Tails is the strongest beast that has been revealed and controlled (hence not counting the 9-Tails). I think killing someone, especially if Akatsuki (Madara) helps, is far from being out of the question and would actually be epic. | ||
