It does feel like it's been dragging on a bit, but if you don't enjoy reading it, why read it at all? If anything at all, Kishimoto should just present more pages per week, so we get to 1) progress through the story faster, so people like you won't have as much to complain about 2) more to enjoy/week. Personally, I didn't think that Pain's invasion would happen so soon after Sasuke had his little encounter with Bumblebee. I thought there would be some exposition up to that point, and 30 new things would be introduced. (Personally, I think I would've enjoyed this.) | ||

It is exactly the same as Uchiha Shisui, whom he once fought (Shisui's Sharingan had a doujutsu that allowed him to go into his opponent's mind and manipulate them, even without the opponent realising it) meaning danzo is not tobi/madara from mangahelpers.com | ||

What's the point of building up badasses like Rock Lee, Gaara, Kimimaro, Zabuza etc, just to make them all completely irrelevant because someone was born with an eye? Oh that's right, because the one person who can take on these godlike figures is the bumbling Naruto, who was born with a demon inside him and is the son of the 4th. It starts to get annoying when an entire world and story is created just to continually make one character look cooler. | ||

But apparently it's only Danzo's right side and right eye. There's no reason why Madara couldn't have taken Shisui's other eye. The only non-Naruto character who's had any significant development since the timeskip has been Shikamaru. uh, probably because it's very rare for ninjas to become as badass as naruto does, so the side characters become somewhat irrelevant i don't see the problem and how is gaara irrelevant? and how was zabuza irrelevant? hell how are any of them irrelevant? kimimaro wasn't irrelevant he was just dying because he was sick, even orochimaru said straight up that he would prefer to have kimimaro's body than sasuke's if he wasn't going to die. clearly sharingan is badass. and clearly it is a large part of the storyline (which is probably why so many characters have it....) but it certainly doesn't render everything else irrelevant. none of the hokages have had eye techniques(as far as we know). neither did jiraiya, orochimaru. neither does sasuke's hawk buddies. nor does killerbee. should I go on and on? | ||
