EPT Some how I think Danzo and the Iron guy are plotting something together. Most of the other older Kages also seem like jackasses though, just not on his level.

Iunno, this is looking a lot like starwars episode 3 to me. First off, Madara is tricking Sasuke into working for him. Madara, has long been rumored to be dead. There aren't any more sith, I mean, Uchicha left. Danzou, who is obviously not the sith lord, orchestrates this elaborate farce of a war. A war where the trade federation, I mean, Akatsuki becomes such a large threat that all 5 kages must convene and choose a supreme chancellor, I mean err, a leader to crush the threat. This leader will have veto power over all 5 kages. Man, I'd really love the manga to close on such a grim note! With its own order66 and everything, where everyone is killed. Naruto and Sasuke duke it out in the end. Sasuke falls in some lava, and Naruto gives a heartfelt speech at the end. Man I love that movie. It's my favourite one out of the entire series. Yes. I'll go watch it right now. Actually, "Boogie Nights" is on IFC and I've always wanted to watch that. | ||

You havent watched after that, how can you say it was on its peak? Shippuden started out great imo. and aswell when they start fighting akatsuki, with shikamarus genious moves. Those are so freaking EPIC. Drop all the fillers and watch shippuden. People should learn to not include stupid fillers into rating shows. | ||

Your narrow knowledge of literature and history are probably what makes you draw these ridiculous parallels. It is typical of almost every story, when you have disparate elements, what draws them together is a greater outside threat. This isn't Naruto being unoriginal, this is Naruto being true to how humanity operates. There are not good parallels between Naruto and Star Wars. The power structure and political dynamic of the Star Wars universe is nothing like Naruto's. Nor is Akatsuki anything like the Sith. The Sith are people who are corrupted by power and drawn to the dark in an immature, good vs evil, annoying kind of way. Akatsuki is a band of supremely talented individuals whose actions more closely follow the realpolitik philosophy, and many of them are doing it in pursuit of their own eccentricities. Sers, it's just insulting how flawed your attempt at analogizing the two is. Yeah, Naruto's young darth vader right? | ||
