No he is not dead, however he didn't have his own 'lifeform' for a while, so technically he was in some sort of temporary state, which bassically was the same as being dead, only to be able to view the world from the eyes of Kabuto (confirmed) and others with the cursed seal (not confirmed).

Finally a good chapter. Just when i believed Kishimoto forgot how to make those. Just some good head to head normal ninja action. It is just so much better than the last chapters of OP naruto fighting random bijuu forms.

I don't get this chapter at all. I think Naruto should be the one to beat Obito in the end.
Obito has been the main villain for 3 years now (not to mention he killed both Narutos parents with his actions, released the Kyubi on the leaf village, he then went on to help Itachi kill the clan and then he brainwashed Sasuke) and he is the dark version of Naruto and now after a Zabusa-class fight with Kakashi he dies like nothing?
Just awful writing. Seriously, he dies after a fight that had less jutsus than Naruto vs Mizuki.

Yeah I appreciated this as well, good old ninja fights with kunais and simple spells. Way better than those DBZesque fights where everything explodes.

The weirdest thing about this Obito being beaten bu Kakashi thing is that it has been shown that physical attacks do nothing to him. Only a few chapters ago he tanked Kakahis riakiri thing simply to show he does not have a heart. I think i have lost count how many times hes regrown parts of his body and not have of it phase him one bit. Seems like bullshit to me.
