second to last panel, shit just got real.
good chapter, full of both big scale action and talk no jutsu. wonderful ending too.
+ Show Spoiler +And I'm surprised that no one noticed the "hey, let's learn a new jutsu in less than 30 seconds !", with obviously everyone being able to use it properly the 1st time. who said everyone was using it properly? they just needed them to spam it to buy time, and with the walls it seems to be a pretty fundamental seals-based jutsu, which was a concept introduced really early on in the manga. if you knew the seals and were good at molding chakra, you could imitate most jutsu regardless of the elemental nature of the chakra (which was what Kakashi built a lot of his career on, sniping seals with his sharingan and copying). Plus, the rock village ninja already knew how to do it, and were probably responsible for the larger walls.

wouldn't it to have been beneficial to Naruto and the entire alliance for him to have mentioned the hokages were back? It would give them more time to come up with a better plan and whatnot

he could sense that they were revived thus he wasn't surprised when Sakura was  Not a bad chapter but you can tell Kishi is just trying to stretch it out now. There was no reason to believe he couldn't have had minato come in halfway through the chapter and then a bit of other stuff afterwards being ending it but meh lol

I find the rest of the chapter was better than when Minato arrived. I finally got to see Ino be useful. Though it's well past its due, the entire team of Shikamaru is now awesome.
