Madara was attached to the Juubi so he can't exactly flee, and obito couldn't protect him because he was too busy saving himself from the rasen shuriken in his waist. that and they're mostly using the juubi to attack/defend right now and the 'cage' they created was 'broken' by the bird of freedom! cmon. think before you complain. | ||

Madara is attached to the 10-tails and is using all of his chakra to control it. He can't dodge, and he can't use the abilities he used to fuck up the kages (Susanoo, clones, etc). Why would he, anyway? He's immortal. He can't be killed. He just turns into paper and comes back to life. | ||
