i don't see how naruto isn't the strongest, you wrote that based on the evidence portrayed in this chapter? it's 6 undead jinchuuriki's equiped with rinnegan and sharingan against 2, not counting tobi, attacking them at once and they were hit by everyone of the opponent's jutsu and remained unscathed at the end of battle. just because they drew even in defense does not mean they don't have an overwhelmingly stronger offense.

Naruto is at least on par with the 5 kages and is probably stronger, the problem with this him is that he is not a cerebral fighter, instead he is a hand to hand combat guy that isn't the best at HtH combat.... I think that the writers are going to set up a situation where you think it is possible for itachi to go back to the village and then he will sacrafice himself for his brother (because he really is the strongest guy in the series it seems).

has there been any theory that Tobi is madara's little brother, Izuna?

This chapter has me thinking that the Fox might actually be one of the most dynamic characters in Naruto. What do you guys think?

Well since he was going to take his mask off i'm pretty sure it'll be someone that Naruto knows.
I'm gonna lol if orochimaru comes up again

I hope not. The dude is already dead, there has to be some limitations on the jutsu.

I hope so, a more developed 9 tails would be a lot better than just RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEE

Naruto turns sasuke somehow... come on... how could the series be complete without sasuke turning against madara, ending the war himself, dying in the process, and having naruto live on as hokage. if there is any theme consistent in naruto its that friendship eventually wins over power. Itachi probably going to play a silly huge part in it all as well. tsuchikage dies in battle with madara to save gaara. somehow the naruto series never ceased to throw wrenches in what i think is going to happen though... well see.

Watch after this latest chapter Im thinking like hes the reincarnation of the Sage or some vague thing like that.

its not much of a hope this is guaranteed after we've seen the relationship that Bee has shown Naruto, and he trained him with the intention of the Fox sharing power with him. This is, as I called before, building up to the fox eventually sacrificing himself for Naruto in some wonderful sentimental pivotal moment that allows naruto to beat someone either Sasuke or Tobi, probably the former becuase I can't see him going toe to toe to any decent ninja without the fox after this. As Sage mode has its uses but I don't think it will get much mileage anymore.

You know what has been troubling me is that Itachi is suppose to be incredibly intelligent and ahead of everyone including "Tobi". Well did he not figure out that Tobi wasn't Madara or was he always duped? Itachi is suppose to have been with him ever since he wiped out the Uchiha, even gotten help from him to do it. I just seems weird he would still think he is Madara.
Has he given any indication he doubts Tobi is Madara and I just never saw it?

Although I'm speculating, isn't it possible that Tobi is also Madara, like his spirit or something? Which could also explain his space/time jutsus.

Didn't Kisame see under the mask and recognized him which gave Kisame knowledge on who was running the show?
as quoted from the narutowiki:
Following Itachi's death, Kisame is confronted by Tobi, who revealed his identity as Madara Uchiha. Recognising him and addressing Madara as "former Mizukage", Kisame commented that he felt a lot better knowing it was Tobi who was pulling the strings. Tobi apologises for leaving Kisame the last member of Akatsuki to know his identity when in fact he is closest to Kisame.

The words Tobi said: '' I am none. I don't want to be anyone. All I care about is completing the moon's eye plan'' Makes me think that he is a puppet of someone, so it is probable we will be seeing naruto for another 10 years

Sorry, my comment was unrelated to the current chapter. Yes, Naruto is stronger than a lot of characters, but he has yet to reach the god-level many characters have achieved, like itachi, madara, tobi, kabuto and maybe sasuke (they're really building up suspense) now. And how is anyone supposed to beat Itachi?

pretty obvious that Tobi is orochimaru or he is naruto/sazuke from the future. /bizarre
i wont be surprised by that if that really happens :>

Man, did i get trolled hard
+ Show Spoiler + ....if you wanna see what's under my mask.. [omg, at long last, they're showing his face! I'm so excited]

Power level in Naruto is sooo bad compared. You never know who's the strongest. And Naruto, we havn't seen him fight his fullest. Using more then 8 tailes controlling himself. And now that the Fox said "I rather help you then him" refeering to Madara as him. It is pretty clear something big will happen.
Only thing I dislike with Naruto serie, is that Naruto just never loses. He is allways strong, and just keeps on getting more imba. He is like protoss.
Former Mizukage you say. "Following Itachi's death, Kisame is confronted by Tobi, who revealed his identity as Madara Uchiha. Recognising him and addressing Madara as "former Mizukage", Kisame commented that he felt a lot better knowing it was Tobi who was pulling the strings. Tobi apologises for leaving Kisame the last member of Akatsuki to know his identity when in fact he is closest to Kisame." that I liked =)

Yeah, there are alot of interesting threads that Kishi can pick up when he wants to. For now though, it doesn't reveal much since little is known about the former Mizukage (correct me if I'm wrong here) and even so, we don't know if it was Tobi becoming Mizukage or the Mizukage becoming Tobi. Not sure what to believe after Orochimaru so easily stepped into the Kazekage's role to get to the 3rd Hokage! Anyways, I'm still totally in love with the plot of Naruto and can't wait to see it unfold.
I do believe Kishi is best at narrating 1v1 battles though, ever since the war began we have mostly seen group battles or only very short and unimportant head to heads. I'm not sure I trust he can do a very good job with mixing the Sharingan and the Rinnegan in Tobi's Six Paths. 9 combatants on the field and all of them are so unique it gets hard to keep up. Well I suppose it doesn't make much sense to complain about diversity either though! I do like how Tobi is much more offensive with his Rinnegan, whereas Nagato seemed to be more of the reactionary type, waiting for his opponent to strike first.
And so the waiting for another chapter once again begins.
