But we don't actually know the specifics of Tobi's vortex power. It's definitely not strong enough that he can go around sucking up high level ninja at will. For example, he lost an arm while fighting Danzo's underlings before he could suck them up. He also had to abandon his plan to take the 5 kages hostage at the summit, because Sasuke hadn't weakened them enough. So I doubt he could capture an ninja of Naruto's power and speed simply because he made physical contact.

Gaara actually can block it with sand i think, and if sasuke keeps the black flame up, the sand is ganna get heated into larva and gaara will be control hot larva which would be even more dangerous for sasuke, instead of desert coffin it would be basalt coffin lol

It´s fire. It´s a special black fire that can´t be extinguished or removed from something it catched onto.
This fire spawns at the point the user currently looks at.

There were 3 uses of it I can remember:

2. Itachi uses it "against" Sasuke. He didn´t want to harm Sasuke so he missed on purpose.
3. Sasuke looks at the Raikage´s arm. The Raikage has to chop his own arm off.
It´s practically laser eye napalm. If the Raikage, with the resources available to his country, had to chop his own arm off, then it probably is not easily countered.
Now the question is, how is this supposed to be stopped at all? The only way I could think off would be fire proof scrolls with which to seal the fire. Then again you would be a sitting duck during a sealing, and probably catch even more on fire. That´s an actual plot hole, if I´m not mistaken.

I dont understand how tobi can be madara, seeing that kabuto ressurected him with that edo tensei shit. Unless there is some manga specific reason as to why kabuto can raise a person from the dead, while they're still alive

I think the biggest problem with Naruto are the power levels. Dbz was nice enough to do it, and Naruto really needs it. People keep saying that Naruto (character) is so strong right now, but he's not. The kages (not all, not sure how strong tsunade really is) are stronger than him. The past kages are stronger than him. Killer Bee is stronger (much more experienced in combat and tailed beast). But, by far the biggest problem in the series is Itachi. Is he god now? He was ressurected, so no more illness, and I can't see him as someone who's stoppable. I would have said the same for Nagato, but Itachi killed him.

fun fact Naruto is the strongest for Two very important reasons
1) He's the main character
2) He has the NINE-TAILED fox, which if properly utilized is THE strongest of the tailed beasts and the strongest thing on the planet NOT TO MENTION it only has half of its power inside of Naruto which should give you an idea of just how crazy strong it is.
