Sage mode already give uber strength.
Kisame is just a fucking sword stingray or some shit, and Gai was suprised but he recovered. Gai is capable of fast taijutsu, Kisame gets smashed.

Maybe Naruto learn teleport trick form his mom. That was the only imba thing in this chapter.

Nice chapter, naruto has been good lately. I personally don't mind the powerups in naruto since from the very beginning we knew there were freaking strong guys (4th hokage). We also already knew about naruto's potential (9 tails inside). So even now when naruto is getting mad strong it doesn't feel ludicrous. However bleach is just like...aizen, who goes from cool cunning dude to suddenly godlevel strength. And ichigo's powerups are retarded.

You guys do know that these "power-ups" aren't cheap right?
Naruto's been through a LOT of shit because of this nine-tailed fox. He lost BOTH of his parents because of it, lost any chance of learning from his father, learning to know real love from a mother...
And most of all? He lost eleven fucking years of his child hood because of his fox. Oh and his friends and masters get killed because Akatsuki is after him.
Naruto also had to claw his way and fight hard to get control of his nine-tailed fox, and was only able to do it with the help of his mother.
That, in no way, tells me that this power up was uncalled for. Naruto worked his ass off for it, and now he's receiving the benefits after years of torment and hardship.
If anything, Sasuke gets lameass powerups more than any other character in the manga.

I could understand if it was the genin examination and shit like this was coming out, but we're in the major leagues now. Tutored by one of the legendary sannin, son of the fourth hokage, host to the demon fox, fighting the Akatsuki... what do you expect??

Good chapter. I like the idea of having his father's technique as Naruto's next power up. And it kind of matches/surpasses Sasuke's speed. Also having a space/time jutsu might be some kind of defense against Amaterasu, since it only burns for 7 days/7nights, if he can alter time to a certain degree. Though Itachi's "gift" to Naruto is a more logical defense against it probably.

hes saying the story was more interesting when the characters werent uberpowerful. im not saying there ever wasn't, but those characters weren't the focus of the story and had a certain mystery to them that made the show entertaining.
now everyone is powerful, and they keep getting more powerful, and its kinda 'wtf is going on anymore'.
anyways, naruto has what he needs now to take on madara so im finally hoping to god shippuden can return to a sensible and straight forward story and get it over with already.

some things in that chapter didn't really add up to me..and the best thing was when Guy saw Kisame coming out of the waterfall, best part of the manga imo.

This was a great chapter you guys. Man some of you people say the most absurd shit about naruto. Of course from me this statement will be ridiculed because I have a naruto fan name to begin with 
Naruto has always been great, the story and sequence of events as a whole are superb. I don't know what you guys mean when you say oh it was bad before but it's getting kinda good now or something. You didn't like naruto vs pain or taka vs killer bee, or sasuke vs everyone and then danzou? Or the leaf vs hidan and kakuzu? I mean I can go on... That stuff was all great. It's all progressing very nicely.
There's alot of snobs out there who feel the need to rebel against naruto and not admit it's as good as it is because it's so popular, they don't want to go along with the main stream. For no other reason do they pretend like it's not an excellent manga and anime, and one of the very very best.
Anyway, I think it's pretty funny that after all this naruto is still a gennin. I'm sure naruto's progression thru the ranks will go something like this..
Gennin -> Hokage

Naruto is like becoming the new sage of the six paths. (maybe its just what you look like with massive sage chakra) Like 1 side inherited his techniques one side his will of fire?
Will of fire--> Minato (hokage of fire country)
Techniques --> Mother (sealing techniques which for example Sage of the Six pathes used to seal Juubi I think, with the moon or some shit i dunno
Obviously naruto seemed to inherit bloodline shit once the mother truly passed away I guess.
Also interesting that the Kyuubi chakra once seperated from the hate is actually sage/life chakra. Remember how powerful 9 tails was? Firing pure chakra which we know from the rasengan stuff is not even close to as powerful as it can be. Naruto is going to be insanely strong now.

Wonder if naruto will get like rinnegan after what itachi gave him + the 6 paths shit around his neck. Seems gay but sasuke does have tons of really OP imba crap so make him powerful for ono reason so he can make naruto stronger.
Oh kisame is the guy Gai fought at the start of Shipudden but it was using a clone+a fraction of his chakra. Guess he fights the real one now.
