chapter was dope but i for one am tired of flashbacks. Between the flash backs in bleach naruto and one piece i just cant take it anymore.
Sure its cool that there showing it now but like. it was all kinda common sense of what happened. only thing we didnt know is that minato put a baller ass seal on him that relinquished control of the fox from him.
I just wanna see naruto control the fox and get the hell off that island

yea i like the flashback in onepiece since they never really talked about those, but i don't think bleach and naruto's flashbacks are really relevant in the development of the story

But we have to remember that Madara wasn't scared of what or who was in the coffin, but rather the secret it could potentially reveal about Madara.

Does anyone think Orochimaru is ever coming back? I thought he was the best villain and with Kabuto always appearing every 30 chapters, I think Orochimaru is somehow going to show up again.
But anyways, Madara keeps getting called the "masked man" all of sudden by everyone and even kabuto made some remark about this fact at their last meeting. I don't know who is going to be the last villain anymore lol.
Naruto has been pretty good lately, liking it a lot more than Bleach's latest chapters.

Previously when Naruto spoke to Minato, Minato told him that Madara saw through everything that he did and that he sealed the nine tails inside of Naruto so that he could use it against Madara in the future. The fact that Minato just fucked Madara up leaves me wondering how in the hell did Madara see through anything at all and why would Naruto need the nine tails in order to defeat him? What jutsu does Naruto need that much damn chakra for??

Honestly. A lot of these characters in the manga aren't what Kishi makes them out to be. Kakahsi should be 10x more badass from all the descriptions we get of him... anbu 8 gates.... sharingan, multiple kamui, can think.
Minato suffered from the same "naruto" disease. Can't be as badass as represented. Also, we avoid a super long flash back-a-thon. I wish the anime would take the initiative to flesh out some of these episodes a bit more. Really just adding in more jutsu into slug fests.

Madara only controls 7 right now btw.
Madara did get hith bu Minato, but he just retreated... Minato is ultimately the one that lost because he died, and so did his wife. I think that counts more like a loss than just getting punched and running away. In that sense, Madara did see through everything, especially considering how he made sure the birth went awry, made sure the nine tails attacked Konoha, made sure to misguide Minato and make him waste time fighting Madara (who ultimately did not die) in order to increase the damage inflicted by the nine tails, etc.

I'm not talking about why Naruto now needs to control the nine tails... I'm talking about why Minato, given what is shown to have happened, thought that Naruto needed the nine tails chakra(most likely for this secret jutsu repeatedly hinted at) to defeat Madara when he did so well in the fight against him.

I agree that in one sense Madara saw through all the preparation that went into delivering Naruto but at the same time, that didn't seem to be what Minato was talking about because he proceeded to tell Naruto that he believed he could use the nine tails chakra in order to defeat Madara. I don't believe that Madara willingly allowed Minato to sever the connection between him and the fox for a second. I would even go as far as to say that Madara wanted to defeat Minato right then and there and not just mess up the village.
The whole time leading up to this I believed that having the nine tails sealed inside Naruto was meant to directly counter the sharingan that Madara had dominated Minato with in their fight. Now though it appears that there is no reason for this secret jutsu that would require the nine tails chakra and yet it has been repeatedly mentioned and it's fairly clear that it will be the next thing to happen once the fox is under Naruto's control. Does this really not stand out as a huge flaw to anyone else?
