Nah, more than likely it's + Show Spoiler + she knows that Sarada isn't related by blood, but she still loves her as though she were her own biological daughter. The translation is mediocre but it gets the general point across of what this chapter's about, and what the whole point of this prologue is for: + Show Spoiler + a person's thoughts/feelings are just as important - if not more so - than blood ties/family bonds, and that we should strive to understand one another. | ||

She is probably referring to that being one of the ways Sasuke shows that he loves someone (which he took from his brother). Which is in line with his general thing of not telling people stuff/ not asking any help, as his way of doing the right thing for the ones he loves (again modeled after Itachi). | ||

At least I could understand Itachi's motivations, Sasuke always left me a bit on the confused side. Naruto the real bro, funny to see the once hot headed idiot holding himself from kicking Sasuke in the butt, and helping little children deal with their problems. My personal theory is that the sample taken from the desk was actually Sakura's DNA, or Sasuke having taken in Karin DNA like others said. Stuff like this always ends happy in Naruto, I highly doubt Salad is the product of adultery. I wonder how long this series is going to be, just based on the fact that they're about to break into the other dimension base of the bad guys (and Naruto tries to convince these guys about the importance of love ala' Zabuza, I will be pretty disappointed). Maybe there's someone else pulling the strings? Would make for a boring story honestly, little creativity. | ||
