Its kinda weird tho that its so focused on one fight, like frieza is literally doing nothing for quite a while, gohan and picolo are goofing around, 18 and 17 are doing some sibling bonding like no one is actually fighting atm....with the exception of vegeta vs toppo a super hype match and we see none of lol. Everyone else is also jacking off to the fight, feels like they are writing the scenes much like how they write 1v1 tournament scenes. one person vs one person and cut to everyones faces for reactions or the occasional explanation. The manga fight + Show Spoiler + of the gods for the pre tournament battle was really well done, everyone was going at each other | ||

If the gods are merciful, it's 2 weeks at most per filler universe. Think we still have 2, 3 and 4 alive. u2 dies in 2 weeks, the week after a u7 person is knocked out. In regards to ui vegeta i think vegeta already has a limit breaker of some sort, so that may be where we see the defense offense parallel | ||

this happened several times and even when goku was doing harsh gravity room training during the namek arc, and where vegeta tries to get krillin to kill him to have dende heal it up. however, this is not what is happening in this tournament of power. this no longer occurs for most of the saiyan Z-fighters because they're far and beyond past saiyan limitations. kefla is a mix between a gifted combat saiyan (caulifa, who goes from saiyan to SSJ, SSJ2 within less than a week) and kale who is broly's parallel. the legendary SSJ part is the only part of it that makes sense out of kefla being able to overpower super saiyan blue out of nowhere. and, keep in mind, they need to have done the fusion dance perfectly in the first place. the potara earrings seemed to have been a story afterthought as they handled that entire sequence with a quick flashback. broly/bio broly were at SSJ3 power without the drawbacks that the form had on speed. lets say the fusion between an SSJ3 into an SSJ2 brought on by high compatibility between the two friends draws them to SSG/SSB level. goku is fatigued while being closed in on by power levels, makes sense that he collapses in exhaustion and relies on the power of will and the ultra-instinct transformation. stands to reason that a freshly UI aware goku wipes the floor with them even when kefla is drawing from the legendary super saiyan side of things. that is in my opinion the only way to stretch that whole thing. i didn't enjoy the fight because of this, together they are still just getting power from seemingly nowhere it's enough to displace the difference in combat experience and knowhow (controlling super saiyan forms, stamina, etc.). i hope they handle the powerups in the rest of the arc with good care and pacing because one of the premises of the entire dragon ball universe is that hard arduous training gets you somewhere. it can be one of the many methods of breaking your shell/limitations. this is getting dispelled and going the magical route of getting absolutely free power in the case of kefla. i'd just like a small nod and an explanation on how come that universes' saiyans no longer have tails? maybe when planet sadala is on the table. | ||
