oh man do i love urie in this manga dude is such a badass. everytime i play dota and i witness a core dive 1v5, i think of urie. he's exactly that guy in the manga. he attacks ghouls head on mindlessly and attempts to overpower them with hate and this psychopathic obsession for merit. he literally doesn't even know what he jumps into but comes out victorious, i love how the ghouls always go " DUDE WTF?!"

sooo, anyone believing that Sasa's loss of his hand is gonna be persistent?

I mean the guy regenerated an eye, I dont see him end up as a cripple.

Overall I'm not sure I like this chapter in terms of logic.
Kaneki's fight feels very questionable. I mean Kanae shouldnt be able to do shit to Kaneki in the first place, but after the fight happened entirely off-screen, we see Kaneki totally beaten up. And then he decides that he had enough and just one-shots Kanae without any weapon whatsoever.

I don't mind the quinx fight as much, but Noro is a bit to weak and passive for the hype and Nutcracker seems way to convenient. Also Shirazu's dilemma and him overcoming it should have been more in the focus than Urie and whoever the leading investigator is/was imo, despite the fore-run this came kinda out of nowhere. I hope Noro just does what he did last chapter.

Then again I think the in-fight art is developing greatly and the chapters are really intense atm. I'm really enjoying the arc atm, despite some weird fight outcomes like the last 3.

I thought this chapter was fine as the most relevant characters in the flashbacks appeared in the last two chapters (Matsumae and Kanae). The investigator with the glasses is the guy who ran the auction operation and the rest were just Kanae's family who were only shown in this chapter I think.

One-eyed queen has appeared, wonder how many people are gonna die.

am i the only one who lost the overview with all the characters? i dont know who's who anymore. not a tiny bit. but i'm too lazy to reread all of :re and its hard to follow with a weekly chapter.
all the characters + different appearence since :re T_T

I mostly just google their name. There is a wiki that even has the new look and the old look, because a lot of characters look vastly different.

The Art is decent, does get difficult to understand sometimes, but the thing that is really setting it back is the scan quality that we end up getting. There are higher quality scans out there.

The character thing is definitely an issue - Ishida expects us to know everything and everyone, even if they had a small cameo in the original Tokyo Ghoul. I had to re-read it to try to understand things a lil more clearly. Plus the foreshadowing. Jeez.

intense, might be my favorite chapter so far. I get most of what's happening in the fight (which has been like THE hype match since the end of tg) and there's some development for the quinques. Also I like this new antagonist fighting Eto, wonder how long he's gonna stay. I mean he can't be around like this forever, can he?
