So what I was worried would turn out to be a one-off nothing episode wasn't at all. Super happy that they're keeping the long-form continuity going.
I really like how successful they've been in turning Fitz and Simmons from inseparable to being what they are now. Worked nicely. As I've said before, I was a bit worried about how they were heading towards more of the super-powers stuff but it's been handled well so far. Was cool to meet a Kree though. I liked how he wasn't just a nameless bad guy and really was doing the right thing for his planet and probably for earth too.
Not sure sending back a Kree sans memories was a good idea though...

Seems more like a "let's close this plot quickly" than a "Let's have this decision come back and bite their butt".

This is an odd complaint that I've seen others mention. I want more super powers in the show and hope they go that direction with the introduction of inhumans. This is a marvel show and I want as much marvel lore incorporated into it as they can. I already have stuff like NCIS for non super powers shows. I don't want this show to deal with just normal everyday human stuff and bad guys. I want to see super powers, aliens, etc in it. The more the better.

Ideally it would be good to have lots of the superhero stuff.
Practically, though, the budget for special effects in TV series, especially CG, is quite terrible, which means most of the superpowers we do see are going to be limited, relegated to the cheap effects like super strength, or really, really bad looking.

Oh, I understand budget reasons for limiting super powers. I'm more talking about people being opposed to super powers playing a prominent role in the show in the first place. The CG has been done very well though in shield so far.
Nice that they're still sticking with the long-running themes and storylines, annoying that they're forcing a bad-guy of the week, especially on characters that shouldn't be.
Like...your entire storyline is about Kree creating a race of superhumans, and then the first actual Kree shows up for one episode then vanishes just as fast?
Then there was the like D-List bad guys in the next episode that really shouldn't have existed in the first place (okay, a couple were Marvel canon, but still).
