I disagree with comparison to supernatural. those guys might not be a listers, but I feel like they look like academy award winners compared to Skye, ward, whoever else they got.

I don't really think it's meant to be picked apart this heavily, go watch something else if that's what you're looking for. This is not in any stretch of the imagination on the level of Castle/Supernatural and even Bones is better filmed. Obviously that's all opinion, but I don't see how this even begins to compare.

Am I the only one? Isn't that how every Joss Whedon show ever works? It takes a few episodes to get settled in and to get rid of the original expectations. And then you can start to enjoy the show.

Its pretty much an unison agreement that this latest episode was miles better than the ones before. You are right though: if you don't find anything enjoyable about it by now, you might as well stop watching.

That said, it was pretty much the best episode of the series because it tried to resonate on an emotional level instead of just "here's some action scenes".

I wanted this show to be its own show about Marvel universe full of heroes and stuff but from a normal human point of view, but what we got is a group of humans investigating strange SciFi happenings just like in Fringe, but with worse plots, and worse acting.

The lack of a plot uniting the episodes together, the lack of a villain - it's just people flying around and investigating something weird, every episode - except for the references to the movies, nothing Marvel-esque at all. It's cliche-ridden and most of the actors are horrible..Agent Ward and Skye in particular. I also hate the stereotypical magic scientist geeks which Marvel seems to love so far...it's as though wearing glasses in the marvel universe makes you a prodigy in chemistry, biology, engineering, IT, quantum physics, who seem to be able to create something capable of saving the universe in 30 minutes, in every episode. I'll still watch it though for some unknown reason >.> Pretty much this... and the more screentime they get, the worse it is. So this episode was really really pathetic. Look, an unknown virus of alien origin. It'll take me 30 minutes to whip up a cure! Yes, we can then fill those 30 minutes with a lovey dovey badly acted interaction between the science geeks! Best episode ever! :/ On the other hand, it meant there was less screentime for Skye and Ward's atrocious acting and interactions, so I guess that's a plus. Someone please tell me why I still watch this?

http://marvel.com/news/story/21476/disneys_marvel_and_netflix_join_forces_to_develop_historic_four_series_epic_plus_a_mini-series_event Disney's Marvel and Netflix Join Forces to Develop Historic Four Series Epic plus a Mini-Series Event Based on Renowned Marvel Characters Landmark Deal Brings Marvel’s Flawed Heroes of Hell’s Kitchen, led by "Daredevil," to the World’s Leading Internet TV Network in 2015 Burbank, Calif. - Nov 7, 2013—The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) and Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) today announced an unprecedented deal for Marvel TV to bring multiple original series of live-action adventures of four of Marvel's most popular characters exclusively to the world's leading Internet TV Network beginning in 2015. This pioneering agreement calls for Marvel to develop four serialized programs leading to a mini-series programming event. Led by a series focused on "Daredevil," followed by "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage," the epic will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel's "The Defenders" mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters. Produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Television Studios, this groundbreaking deal is Marvel’s most ambitious foray yet into live-action TV storytelling. "This deal is unparalleled in its scope and size, and reinforces our commitment to deliver Marvel's brand, content and characters across all platforms of storytelling. Netflix offers an incredible platform for the kind of rich storytelling that is Marvel’s specialty," said Alan Fine, President of Marvel Entertainment. "This serialized epic expands the narrative possibilities of on-demand television and gives fans the flexibility to immerse themselves how and when they want in what's sure to be a thrilling and engaging adventure." "Marvel’s movies, such as 'Iron Man' and 'Marvel’s The Avengers,' are huge favorites on our service around the world. Like Disney, Marvel is a known and loved brand that travels," said Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos. "With 'House of Cards' and our other original series, we have pioneered new approaches to storytelling and to global distribution and we're thrilled to be working with Disney and Marvel to take our brand of television to new levels with a creative project of this magnitude." This new original TV deal follows last year's landmark movie distribution deal through which, beginning with 2016 theatrically released feature films, Netflix will be the exclusive U.S. subscription television service for first-run, live-action and animated movies from the Walt Disney Studios, including titles from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Disneynature and Lucasfilm. Netflix members can currently enjoy a wide range of Disney, ABC TV and Disney Channel films and shows across the 41 countries where Netflix operates.

It was a bit strange to jump between a super secret infiltration mission to a comical stunning if your vastly superior officer, but it was still alright. Coulson and Sky egot more development. They continued to develop Fitz and Simmons into more than just two extremely smart geeks who can't take care of themselves. Abd about finding a cure in thirty minutes... First of all it was technically hours. Secondly, this is a world with aliens wormholes and superheroes. Why do people keep criticizing supernatural things for not being realistic?]
