Old, Born Sinner, Acid Rap, Yeezus even. NWTS close, especially if you include the promo tracks that didn't quite make it on like 5AM in Toronto. Action Bronson's new mixtape is out but I haven't had a chance to sit down and listen to it yet.

MCHG would indeed come close, but didn't that come out in late 2012?

MCHG: Tired, inessential, rather pointless, some songs are ok, overall a boring creation I guess if you are really conservative MCHG has the positives and Yeezus the negatives...

Yeezus is a jam packed 40 mins of cutting edge experimental production by a proven musical heavyweight and if you give it a few more tries and still cant appreciate any of the tracks you just aren't advanced enough. MMLP2 is classic Eminem, and he always uses the whole CD. There are tracks to stand tall with his classics and goofier ones that will become cult favorites. Since he gives us so much content I tend to overlook a little airiness in Em's studio albums, so a few lame tracks is basically nbd. If the bonus track is good though, MMLP2 will overtake Yeezus for best rap album this year for me. Kendrick's GKMC is the only other that's in the same league this year. MCHG very zzzzzz

GKMC came out in 2012. but yeah that's clearly the best rap album of recent years.

Mellowhigh dropped last week and is okish. Some people really love Lords of Flatbush but personally I think there are more bad tracks on that mixtape than good ones. old, mchg and yeezus are my top 3 let downs.
