Time for Eren and company to get to that fucking basement. Time for the grand reveal. No more stalling, I want to know what's down there!
they still havent figured out how to plug the hole which was the main problem there working on the assumption that they need to secure the basement and plan for long term instead of just having someone run in and take a quick peek
Now they know Eren can form walls, they need to know that liquid, and that liquid might be in the basement, going there is their best bet.
sur maybe now that they know about the liquid but beforehand they considered closing the hole top priority and going to the basement too dangerous while the titans were there
Introduce new (or old characters) at the end of the chapter then abruptly end. When you actually think about it, nothing actually happened in this chapter.

cause it was full of plot bleach has chapters of people moving from point a to point b if you dont like plot dont read it
I wouldn't say nothing happened. We got plenty of exposition and got to see how the world held up after the whole political mumbo jumbo bullshit. I really liked the Titan guillotine part. There were plenty of good moments. And now MT is back so we can start heading towards the long awaited finale.
I started reading this series after the anime hype in 2013 but it's gotten to the point where I read it when it comes out but I'm not really excited for it anymore.
Also in the beginning I didn't care but the art is really shitty especially when you compare it to stuff you get weekly like Shokugeki no Soma, One Punch Man and One Piece.

I find it exciting when the Bald guy mom turned into titan , and the Titan Ape came out . But after that it change to human vs human, it kind of lose the Manga unique selling point . And then it turned out the people inside the wall noe about the titan , Ackerman has unique bloodline , injection turn into titan.
There is no need to go to.....the somewhere Eren father underground lab? To find out all the secrets.
I like it when all the human unite , and fight against the titan , and find out about the secret , the outside world. Time is short, anytime might be human extinction because titan may attack anytime again...
When the focus shift to civil war against the elite , who noe the secret all along, and the story become less war fight but more talking & logic . And suddenly the titan totally dissappear , and feel like peace again without any titan invasion threat....
Ah...I do not noe how to explain , but I am same as u . Not excited anymore. I used to excited by the anime , to wait for answer about all the mystery . . .
I'm thinking the Monkey Titan is another one of those really old Titans like the Reiss "God." Either he extended his life or he's passing on his knowledge from body to body. The reason for this is his Titan form looks very similar to the god titan in the flashback.

Okay so this was a pretty cool chapter. We didn't really get much info but I liked the message behind it. Grisha is confirmed to be from the outside world so that means he has memories of that place. I wonder if Eren can somehow get Grisha's early memories back.
So if you need Reiss blood to control the Titan power and you need Ackerman blood to be resistant to the 1st kings brainwashing it seems pretty obvious to try and mix the bloodlines to get someone who can control the power without getting brainwashed. What am I missing?

there not being "brainwashed" there "inheriting" the kings memories and following in his footsteps
