edit* - looking back I see it's actually a huge chunk of pages. When it's in that imgur form and I don't have to click a key for the next page it just zooms on by.

This really is going the way of Gantz at its current pace. All mindless action, story eventually gets completely forgotten.

And that's how the manga always been for the past years. Sickening chapter, more on next month T_T

Gantz did that for straight 300 chapters, I don't know how you can compare. It doesn't often take more than 5 chapters in Shingeki to go back to plot mode. And it's been only 2 of them since last time.

A few questions. Is there any evidence to support Eren got his powers from his father's injection? Based on the anime, the only reason that's believed is because Eren thinks so. And since Eren is always wrong, that can't be it. It would be too easy. Although Eren is always wrong, it appears Armin is always correct, up to episode 21 in the anime at least. Has Armin ever been wrong?

Has Armin ever been wrong? Yeah that's one of the nice parts of the manga imo, crushing hope and despair honestly during the early chapters the manga really did get to me.

Has Armin ever been wrong? Thats one of the big reasons I feel in love with it. Its kind of like the original Gundam series. It came out at a time where almost every other anime on the market was focused on 1 guy that could save the world. In the original Gundam ya he was super powered and a fucking bad ass, but they couldn't win the war by themselves they had to occasionally step back and let other people do the dirty work. Much like this anime, Eren may be Humanitie's last hope, but he can't do it alone, he has to constantly be helped by people weak and strong.

Pretty sure Hannes dies the next chapter. It's time to pay back his debt to Grisha.

I found Irvin's arm getting chopped off somewhat unnecessary, but I suppose it's a way to say "no one is safe" without killing him... for now. Pretty sure Hannes dies the next chapter. It's time to pay back his debt to Grisha. and it shows how completely badass he is and hes not some hypocrite who orders others tothere death without being willing to die himself

I mean, every single chapter should have brain-wrackingly great storyline progression, right? Every SINGLE one....... My more serious opinion is that I thought this chapter was quite good but it was a tad slow. I'm still really enjoying both the manga and anime.
