+ Show Spoiler +This guy is correct. I think Donna just fucked up and in the next episode is going to try covering it up. Hence the "I'm trying to protect you". By the looks of the preview Mike finds out and makes her tell Harvey.
I really feel bad for Louis (Lewis?), he genuinely works hard and is a good lawyer, despite being a cocky douche he's kinda love-able in a way, and the new boss is a great character.
I love this show, with Game of Thrones and other shows I love on break I absolutely look forward to Suits every week. If anyone is wondering whether or not to watch it, give it a shot I don't think you'll be disappointed. ^_^

Great episode as always, the rather vague hint earlier on about Donna hooking up with someone at the office seems to thicken.... perhaps she made that silly decision based on her current feelings for X?
Btw for how long should we spoiler stuff?

I love this show! The banter between Mike Ross and Harvey Spectre is especially good, but it's also nice that Donna is gradually getting a bigger role in it all. It's a really good synergy between the cast, I just hope they can keep it as fresh as it is now for more than 3-4 seasons! Also, those suits make me want to spend my life savings on a few dapper outfits. With vests, because they are baller, even if Mike doesn't think so!

That ep was worth the 2 week wait.
Love what they are doing with louis this season and Hardmann is a great addition to the cast.
|
Donna is so damn hot! Seriously, what I wouldn't do to her... *drool*
And of course, this season is shaping up to be really good! Cant wait to see what happens next ep!

When Harold walks into the filing room, freaking hilarious.
|
They are doing a really good job making it hard to judge whether Hardman is actually out to screw them or whether he really has changed.

Just because Hardman recognises thatthey have a common enemy does not mean he's necessarily changed.
|
Hardman hasn't changed, and if he has he will be given some reason to change back (atleast momentarily). Pretty sure about it!
The whole overlaying plot of this season is to have Jessica and Harvey battle Hardmann for the firm. Jessica and Harvey will obvioulst win in the end but maybe they'll split amicably with Hardman or something. No matter what he will start some shit and try to fuck them over.

Hardman is clearly aware of Jessica and Harvey's efforts to keep him from the firm, or at least having any influence in the firm.
Hardman is not stupid, and he has shown that he is willing to fight back to reclaim his position in the firm.
It is clear that Harvey and Jessica will not stop, so he will have to do something about it. This might mean getting them out of the firm, like they did to him, or at the very least get significant leverage to guarantee that they will stop their attacks on his position (details on Harvey's dirty dealings in the DA's office might suffice, or maybe the truth about Mike).
He has not done anything major yet, but he wants to defend his own position first and build up a network of allies. At the moment he cannot really afford a failed attack.
So in my opinion, it is clear that he wants to screw Harvey and Jessica, and it seems logical that to protect his position they would ideally leave the firm if he can manage it. Whether he is doing it for revenge, or just to get back his position is not exactly clear, but that they are at war is obvious even if Hardman acts otherwise.
|
EDIT: what i meant was that Hardman is more or less trying to consolidate his position as #2, rather than being forced out by Harvey and Jessica, he has yet to do any powerplay for position #1, and as such, we can't really speculate as to his final motives.
But from his current actions, I'd definitely say he wants to stay relevant in the firm.
|
Yea Hardman is coming off as a decent guy who is trying to do right. The last 2-3 episodes have made Harvey and Jessica look like assholes when dealing with him and to a lesser extent Louis who has come on strong and more awesome by the episode only to possibly take a step back after hearing all that trash talk about him AND that no one is telling him anything. This goes back to his feelings of not being wanted/important at the firm and being under appreciated. Make that man a senior partner!

I kind of hope that Hardman turns out to actually be a changed guy after his Wife's death but Harvey and Jessica spend so much time refusing to believe he is and won't work with him properly that it leads to a split anyway.
Harvey and Jessica can be pretty stuck up themselves sometimes so I'd quite like it if that came back to bite them a bit =p

This episode was decent, sucks that it continues in the next one.. Because that means I have to wait ONE week for a new EP!
|
I am obsessed with this show! This week's episode ended on a cliffhanger. I NEED THE NEXT ONE!
|
Donna is epic.
Also i think the whole point of making hardman seem nice to the audience only for him later to turn out to be a total jerk is the point, to make us the audience understand just how fake he can be and why Jessica and havery hate and distrust him so much.
|
This is really one of the best series i have watched. I literally spent the last 14 hours watching all the episodes until this point. This shit is amazing!

I am impressed on how the writers REALLY attempt to move the plotline w/o fillers as oppose to MANY procedural shows do these days to milk out as much as possible. This shows they really care. And I very much learned so many small tidbit about the corporate industry and how it functions under the law.
