Not to mention the silence that Ran Koon showed after talking to Jyu Viole Grace makes me think he might have made the connection between Jyu Viole Grace being Baam; since, like Aegis Koon he would know it would take an Irregular to kill Zahard, and Baam was an Irregular and after the last chapter this slayer candidate is acquainted with Koon, so I'd would all line up. The slayers are for killing all the family heads and not just Zahard. Only Zahard requires an irregular. Afaik no one knows that Viole is specifically meant for Zahard, so they might suspect it but he might just be a regular who is very strong selected for the ability to bring down some family head.

Family heads with the exception of Bloodmadder are also granted immortality by guardians afaik

That wouldn't be necessary if they were immortal. http://towerofgod.wikia.com/wiki/100th_Floor If you have immortality, it seems like family members are more used to build the status of your family and make it stronger(more rankers, high rankers) and like an army, and make them do all your shitty work while you go rest or bang all day long as royalty. Also, SIU says he's slowing down the pace of the story. Seems like another 100 chapter 30th floor, which is second floor all over again.

http://towerofgod.wikia.com/wiki/Grace_Mirchea_Luslec http://towerofgod.wikia.com/wiki/Karaka Haven't pretty much everyone said that Baam is the most recent irregular in a long time since Urek/Phanta?

I wouldn't mind another floor of test-like long floor arc. That shit was fun...although I don't like the team composition right now, I hate that baam is on a team of assholes.

10 Slayers to kill 10 family heads. Yes, the family heads have been granted immortality, but probably it's only a protection against aging. Family heads can be killed by someone stronger. (but afaik,. the Slayers are still pretty weak, compared to the heads) Zahard has an additional contract which makes him impossible to be killed by anyone. And that's why FUG needs atleast one member who is able to breach the Tower's laws and contracts. And irregulars are such persons. That's why they need Baam so he can fulfill FUG's wishes.

I like it...the genius team where most of the people hate each other, the team of losers that act like a family + koon, and baam's original team that think koon + baam are dead all competing.

The Tower is never absolute, and Irregulars are the perfect example to this. They are not obligated to obey the laws of the Tower, and for such a reason, recruited by FUG to assassinate the Family Heads. You guysare probally just confusing eternal youth with immortality (or well, it really makes it easier to understand why Zahard is immortal/invincible even if the rest won't die of old age)

I'm guessing FUG recruited her before she killed Bam but that wouldn't really make a person go yandere and cripple someone with no real provocation. Also doesn't this mean Headon is also a patron of FUG for his involvement? No one understands yet. It probably has to do with Baam's origin (many suspect he was created by Enryu) and why he was in the pit at the start. Regarding Rachel, FUG asked her if she wanted to be the heroine of the "story," and she faked her own injury to get others to do the work of climbing the tower for her. It seems she's all about herself and just views other people as tools, but who knows why FUG is helping her. On the first page, she mentions something about wanting to be reborn (assuming the translation is accurate), and for whatever reason she's obsessed with the stars. http://www.batoto.net/read/_/7/tower-of-god_v1_ch1_by_the-company It's possible that FUG is forcing Rachel to act this way in order to develop Baam. After all, she may have known that when she pushed Baam he was going to be fine and she did leave Dan alive + he may be able to recover fully, though I imagine it's going to be quite a while before we find out anything. + Show Spoiler + Alternatively she may just fucked in the head, was keeping Baam in the pit as a pet for her amusement, and enjoys betraying/stabbing people

That would explain why she would freak out if someone rejected her like Dan did and also why she would sacrifice her friends to climb the tower. I'm still wondering about Headon though. He told Rachel that he could make her the heroine of the story in much the same way that the guide from FUG did. So does this mean that Headon is after Jahad's head? Maybe he's doing it for the good of the tower? Either way I really like him and his design.

AS for the rest, go read the chapter where the headon-rachel flashback is, I don't think it's more advanced than that

I think that SIU has Rachel's whole backstory and plotline figured out, and we're not supposed to know why she went crazy yet. I feel like it's gonna be some kind of turn where the justification for her doing these things makes her seem like a good person in the end, but who knows.
