Lighthouses are different than the 5 "bangs." Lighthouses have many uses. Have you skipped most of the series? http://towerofgod.wikia.com/wiki/Lighthouse The bangs they referred to are basically how many separate entities of shinshoo that can be controlled. More bangs = more skilled. As explained in the chapter, of the E rank regulars, only about 10 can even control 3. Baam used 5, hence everyone shitting their pants (the #2 ranker Enryu supposedly has been recorded using over 9k). | ||

Baam isn't controlling 5 lighthouses, its more like 5 shinsoo orbs at once (http://mangapirate.net/Tower_of_God/120/25). I believe it relates to his position as a wave controller (I could be wrong here). But, basically most wave controllers at this point of the tower would be lucky to control 3 (http://mangapirate.net/Tower_of_God/120/26), but Baam can control 5 already (which makes him a monster compared to most people at that level). I was actually thinking that they'll talk now and plan a future meet up, but they'd have to keep it a secret in case FUG finds out. Baam meeting his team was supposed to be a reward for reaching the top of the tower, so they may threaten to kill anyone he meets from his team prematurely. Either way I'm really interested to see how Siu handles this situation, and I'm sure we're all hoping for something more than a cop out where they don't recognize each other or immediately get pulled away from one another. | ||

The ambush I think is unrelated to FUG. I think it has to do with some new faction related to the research of the ignition weapons being augmented into people. Maybe one of Headon's factions (whatever that is) enemies since he was the one who saved right hand guy who got assassinated, assuming he was the target and not a bait for Baam. | ||

The koon reveal to Baam was amazing, the way it was portrayed was like a hollywood movie. SIU is truly amazing. Part of me wishes ToG would get picked up into an anime so we can see full action scenes, and drama played out in real time, but part of me feels like it'll get lost, and terrible terrible adaptations will happen to it like so many japanese manga's we've loved over time. | ||
