+ Show Spoiler +I don't think so. Koon's name is crossed out as well, and we clearly know that Koon is not dead. It looks more like somebody "signed" the friend's list for Rak, and Rak crossed it out and signed it himself as Croc.

Thanks for clearing this up!

+ Show Spoiler +Haha, I was just asking the same thing. Look up the spoilers at the top of this page. It's more likely that he's crossed himself off after someone named him "Albino turtle".

Uuuugh so much foreshadowing lately.

+ Show Spoiler +I wonder what other tricks FUG has up their sleeves to keep Baam working for them. Holding his friends hostage will work for now, but they're training him to kill Zahard, IE become one of the most powerful people in existence. Eventually, Baam will be strong enough to kill anyone in FUG, yeah? Why would he go on as their slave then?

+ Show Spoiler +I doubt FUG is looking that far into the future, just planning on using Baam as a killer for now to reach their final goal of killing Zahard, but even if that fails, he probably will end up killing other members of the Zahard family.

+ Show Spoiler +they have bam on a leash pretty damn well honestly. bam is too innocent to even want 1 person that he knows dying. assuming he becomes the strongest he still can't kill all fug before they kill a great portion of his friends. don't forget they literally have rachel on a leash as well. i'm sure she's still in contact with the guide somehow.

+ Show Spoiler +Well, that's true right now, but at some point in time most of Baam's friends are going to end up rankers. Some, like Koon and Androssi, are sure to be very powerful rankers. That's a good point about Rachel though, she would be easy to manipulate because she would trust Hwa Ryun.

Fairly certain that Koon will make sure Rachel doesn't get an happy ending, even if he realizes Baam is alive. She's going to suffer one way or another.
Also, do we really need to use spoilers in the discussion thread? I guess it's one thing when the translation isn't out but it just makes reading the thread a pain overall.

True.
But I'm assuming Koon's punishment for Rachel isn't actually going to involve death, so as long as Rachel is alive Baam will go out of his way to protect her from FUG. Although, I'm kind of curious what she's capable of; she IS irregular, right? we haven't really seen her try to do much in the way of fighting.
I'm also curious what's going to happen when Koon discovers Viole in person (it's gotta happen. they're only 5 floors apart). Will he realize it's Baam? Will he try to kill him for being FUG?

Uhh it's kinda weird. Rachel is an irregular of an irregular lol. Normally, irregulars are chosen by the tower and open the door themselves. However, I guess cause Rachel was in such close proximity to Baam when the tower opened, she got sent in with him despite not being chosen. This has never happened before afaik so she's a real anomaly. Koon and friends will 99% meet up with Baam at one point (not necessarily at the same time). It was bound to happen the moment they separated.
I'm pretty annoyed/disappointed that Baam is just being blackmailed to be part of FUG and isn't even using them to help him climb the tower. I guess it's hard to say since we weren't told what he was thinking but if he doesn't have any sort of goal or resolution other than doing what he's told for the sake of Koon and the others, this is a really wasted opportunity. Rachel's betrayal should've been a key moment in changing his character but apparently not zzzz.
