All good points, however 500 and 100 seems like a big difference-- I suppose it's one of the quirks of the ranking system that prestige/ position could make Evan so much higher. Then again, we have no idea how "bad" he is at fighting. I feel like even though he's been drawn and otherwise hinted to be a wimp he could still wipe the floor with most of the story's cast.
Still, being a high ranker, (like 1000+ IIRC) means you have god-levels of power, so it doesn't matter too much for the sake of the story. It will be awhile until distinctions between power levels that high matter... I think.

mangacow have stopped translations because the official english one is released at the same time as the original

Hey, Magician is really cool and the recent chapters are really dense :o There're still weekly release too.

Dunno, I was reading it on Batoto because their translation was much better, albeit slower. But when you learn that + Show Spoiler +the whole "underground monster" arc, which was already pretty darn long by itself for just a fight, was nothing but a setup for "hey Iremi's true personnality"
