Agreed, that first scene was something ;o usually the intro is funny but this one was really impressive in its way, loved it! The episode was great as well, the Oppas coming to the rescue part was awesome.

Probably because it uses a similar plot to the movie with the same name. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094737/ I would imagine lots of drama ideas are from something else/past movies. (Eg:City Hunter) Only one I can think of off the top of my head. The past few ones I have seen (Feast of Gods, AGD, Big) have gotten really stale towards the end. At least Big and AGD aren't going to be another set of 32 episode marathons.

+ Show Spoiler + damn so I guess we now know that when KKJ returns to his body his post accident memorioes would be forgotten? + Show Spoiler + and what's up with that KKJ flashback during credits as if he is gonna disappear T_T at the end of the day, I have faith in my kdrama writers to conclude this series with a happy ending lol. + Show Spoiler + my bet is that KKJ will return to his old body but his post memories will remain and at the beginning he will try to fake it as if he forgot but will come around to live with gildaran happily ever after yee <3 oh and the chaser ending was disappointing as expected.

+ Show Spoiler + No way KKJ's just gonna lose his memory. I can see a sad ending happening but that's just straight up unsatisfying. Still think KKJ and Da Ran are gonna end up together, and Suzy will realize she likes Gil's brother (which was hinted at last episode). Joon Jae's gonna die because they've made no effort to give us an emotional attachment to him. It'll result in a much cleaner ending, and they don't have enough time left to resolve that whole issue. It'll also force YJ's mom to stay with KJJ, so he'll end up with a family and Da Ran. I'm probably being overly optimistic though lol.

That's fine and dandy, but some of the stuff they try to sell like Coffee Prince or Lie to Me, is absolutely ridiculous and stupid. When the plot and motivations make 0 sense, they end up detracting from a series. And some of those plots are absolutely ridiculous.

It is a romantic comedy with themes way above it's pay grade. adult/minor relationships, medical ethics and practices and adultery deserve to have a medium more powerful and true than a entertainment driven romcom setting. I disagree. For one, he isn't a minor, just because he is a student doesn't mean he is underage. Adultery is everyone and the medical ethics stuff is barely touched upon. I would prefer to see more taboo subjects broached in 'fluffy' dramas. I think Coffee Prince was amazing partly because of its inclusion of sexual identity/coming to terms with his potential homosexuality.
