Gale has accomplished 96% and Walter's RV Meth was at 99%. Gale says that there was a "Tremendous Gulf" in quality. I believe that Jesse gets to 96.3% or so, which is not bad for a guy who never went to college and used to use chili powder!
Seriously though, I watch this show with a friend who went to Cal-Tech as a chemical engineer and he said that there are some drug cooks who probably are making lab-quality meth because experience+skill can eventually just get there.

So awesome you guys are into the show.
Episode ten was truly amazing. Gus's badass rating went through the roof. I can’t help but think how everything that happened is going to affect Jesse. His loyalty to Gus and Mike has got to skyrocket after this. There's no way he's gonna kill Gus for Walt anymore, especially after how pissed off he was at Walt at the end of episode 9.
I want Walt and Jesse to make amends so badly though. Their "father/son" relationship is what makes me love the show. I still cant believe Walt called Walter Jr Jesse though. I have this strong feeling Walter Jr is gonna confide in Hank and when he mentions Jesse's name all the puzzle pieces are gonna fall into place for Hank.
Can’t wait for the next episode!

It was after the "crying scene" when Walter Jr puts Walt to bed cause he's all drugged up on pain pills. The scene was something like
Walt: Did you like the car we got you......
Walt Jr: y-yeah, its uh g-great
Walt: Thats nice Jesse...../passes out
Walt Jr: ...............

Jesse never had a drinking problem, Meth, heroin, not drink. Nothing ever highlighted that, so it was pretty obvious some shit was up with that drink ^_^ Not to mention the pill and Mike's words.
Amazing bloody episode. although i only recently started watching. After the whole of season 1 in two nights, catching up and being on one a week is like fucking rehab to me >.> So the pill was an antidote? If so, why did he vomit afterwards? Just to be on the safe side?

Like someone said earlier, activated charcoal absorbs poisons, it's likely that was what the pills were. Activated charcoal doesn't neutralize the poison, so it still has to come out before it's digested and introduced into the blood stream.

While most of it is just general criminal justice theory, the professors can't help but eventually start talking about organized crime -- and more specifically the cartels considering it's one of Arizona's big problems.

The pill was activated charcoal used to absorb poisons (actually used for drug overdose and alcohol poisoning). The charcoal absorbs the poison then he pukes the charcoal and any unabsorbed poison.

I just watched the last episode, and HOLY SHIT I love this fucking show. By the end of this season almost all the characters are going to have new roles on the show ... expect Walt, the human punching bag.
God, I have no idea how the producers will end a show this fucking insane. Will Walt survive? Be in jail? Will Walt Jr. figure it all out and take off with the money with his PT cruiser? Will Hank figure it all out and kick the shit out of Walter? Will Jesse take over the lab? Is Ted going to end up in a barrel?
I see no way out for the characters now ... .

Episode 10 was sooooo insane, I can't wait until sunday. I wonder if Mike is going to be okay, he only had one gunshot wound right? :o

Mike is my favorite character on the show, if they killed them off I'd be seriously bummed.
Which probably means they'll do it. Fuckers.

yea, so jesse gus and mike were all in on it from the start.
jesse gave gus the poison that walter made to use on the cartel.
walter, jesse, gus, and mike end up becoming the next cartel dealing crystal, THE END
but, i think walter might not make it. cancer or his mouth get him killed.

@saocyn You realize the cartel has been bullying Gus this entire time right? The only reason Gus is even alive is because of the distribution hes capable of. That's the only thing he has on them distribution through his fast food chain. Also having Gus just kill everyone by hiring assassins would just be shitty writing. Think about it, Gus wanted REVENGE over anything else he wanted to be the one to kill Don Eladio for what he did 20 years ago. You need to take a step back and look at the big picture.

You know a show is amazing when people are arguing over the motives of the characters and treating it like great literature.

I know, I know! Everyone keeps recommending it but I can only handle one series at a time. Too damn busy.
