Unfortunately, they cut out some of the content for commercials. Not all bad considering a lot of the show is eye candy, so you're not going to be too messed up over it.

I was also surprised at how definitive their review was. Its rare for them to outright say "buy this car" An AMERICAN car at that.
In case you're interested, you can do research on how much of this ford is produced in europe and how much of it is produced in the states ( hint: not that much)

I don't remember, did they mention if the Renault was an automatic or manual with flappy pedal? The former is fine, as it'll work just like any other automatic. But a manual one is absolutely 100% useless at anything except highway driving and racing. Try parking or a hill start with manual plappy pedals. It isn't pretty.

Most if not all flappy paddle transmissions are semi automatic.

True, didn't really think about the flappy paddle gearbox being any use in traffic xD Still, guess it just a boy hood dream of mine as it is the closet i would ever be to driving an F1 car :3

I know the feeling. On my rental car I currently have some. Believe me : overrated. (Ford Fusion)

You need to drive a car better than a ford fusion with flappy paddles to really judge them.
I doubt any of you would say the same after a ride in a Nissan GTR or M3, etc
And i don't get how you guys say they are so bad in traffic, its basically a manual without a clutch pedal, no? I don't get how it could be any more tedious changing gears with a paddle than a clutch and traditional lever?

Top gear has actually done a video on this. Basically, its a complete mess to park with, do a 3 point turn, and forget about hill start. They also tend to be very jerky, and since you have no cluth, driving in a que is a nightmare.
But thats only true for the ones you're speaking of, flappy pedal on a manual transmission, like a formula 1 car. On most new cars, they're attached to an automatic transmission. This means that you can put it into fully automatic when driving in a town. The con here is that automatics aren't nearly as sharp as manuals when driving on a track, but that also heavily depends on who made it and how much money they've put into it.

Will Top Gear be delayed because of Wimbledon ? (Or am I just on the wrong stream? ^^)

Damnit, I hate you people who don't have to wait for it to show up on BBC America .

Pretty poor episode, liked the F12 review though. The taxi and parkour segments were painfully dull though and felt like filler material. The Mono review was decent but Clarkson testing those tiny speedy cars on the Top Gear track is getting very generic and rehashed.

Welp, I go on vacation for a week, and completely forget Top Gear started last Sunday....

Aww, alot more should of been done with that episode ;_; Taxi segment should of turned into Clarkson - Hammond - May picking 1 Taxi car they think is the best and doing something with it together. Going from A to B with a customer in the back etc, even if it was just through London on Rush Hour etc. Then finishing with a race or something. Thought just throwing it all on a race track was just meh xD
Those free runners though...dayummm, so good xD VERY RANDOM though ahaha, wtf was that all about
F12 Ferrari nomnom, looks soo good. Well done Ferrari on that. Also liked the Mono thought it looked amazing.
During the news bit they were on about the Zonda - Ferrari theferrari - Mclaren, i do hope they race those around Europe/America as a big feature or something. They look so nice cars

Loved the F12 and the Mono. I would probably pick the mono over the spectacular looking F12 though. Simply because the mono is like a street legal formula 3 car.
