I just hope, the books (if they ever come out) will be totally different from show storyline.

As far as GRRM goes... I think him having to scratch the time skip really messed him up. It's where it all comes from really. I believe it goes something like this: he initially did the time skip, but found himself doing too many flashbacks and thus decided not to have it. Then he had to do a lot more unraveling and got himself into the so-called Mereenese Knot. And now...

It's unlikely High Garden is ever captured by Jaime. Realistically the siege of High Garden alone could go on for a year or more easily. The Tyrells on the show were so worthless. If they were that easy to defeat the Lannisters should have won the war back when Tywin was still alive. I doubt this battle will ever happen in books. Afaik, book invasion will be completely different.

Cersei blowing up the sept with the Tyrells inside seems like something that will also happen in the book. At which point it's just Tarly that has to switch sides and we've arrived at the same point as the show (with regards to the Tyrell army). Just not sure it'll be Jaime leading that Lannister army, his arc is very different in the books.

The show excluded an entire faction, which probably will have some impact in the books. Also I can't really imagine, that Doran will go down as easily in the books, so everything coming out of Dorne will be in different shape.

Wait a minute are you telling me there will be no "bad pussy" in the books? I'm not sure I could handle the absence of such awful writing.

I think they were just mentioned as a bullet point for what the Iron Bank can do for Cersei if they get their money back and stay on her side. And that if was actually stressed a lot by the banker. Also we still have not heard that the money actually arrived. So that money being stolen could be another future plot point leading to the bank switching sides. Basically it was another point adding to the notion that things were turning in cercei's favor (which enraged many viewers btw and contributed to disliking the episode) before fate turns the other way again.

I actually just read the plot summary on wikipedia and then skip to scenes I might like, like the battle with the dragons. This last episode was pretty boring. Weak writing like usual. Avengers/MMO raid crew thing was kind of unintentionally funny. Next episode clearly will have more action. Dudes killing ice zombies with medieval weapons. Can't go too wrong with that.
