Either that, or Bran will somehow see the events at the ToJ... But that would be lame. I would prefer if we actually got to see Howland.

If he does I hope he doesn't tell the most obvious story, though. I don't like having a reveal 6 books later that is basically what most people already deduced in the first book.

But who knows, maybe they will make it work besides having him in Dorne raises the stakes a lot and audience will care that much more about whats happening there. More problematic is: what the hell iwould uncat be doing in Dorne?

The trip to Dorne doesn't have to last 10 episodes. What happened in the book? They were delaying Balon Swann from delivering the Mountain's skull because Cersei's daughter's face was all cut-up. Did he event get to see Myrcella?

Not much really happens in the Dorne subplot. Doran doesn't lift a finger, except to stop Arianne to do the only remotely impactful thing that could have been done. In that sense, I think throwing Jaime in the mix might spice up things a bit and make it somewhat more interesting. I really hope though that this time the added subplot does not end with Jaime running away from the dogs with the benny hill music in the background. Also, are you guys not worried that we're already catching up with TWoW material? The Sansa transformation we saw last episode has not yet fully happened in the books, and the overall plot in the Vale has already catched up. Do you think they will just resort to filling it up with random inconsequential subplots of Robin wandering around the Vale, or will they continue to move the story, since the producers know what should happen next? In that case, I'm not sure I will continue watching the series since I'd like to read it first rather than have it spoiled by the show...

I remember he simply says he was searching for Dany, nothing about Illyrio. Episode 3x01. I don't believe he ever mentions Illyrio in the show.

Did "most people" really deduce that in the first book though, or did most people hear about the theory online and then agree that it's a good one? I certainly didn't pick up on it my first read thru. It's a common theory floated around in just about every book discussion online, but I'd be curious to know how many people figured it out without ever having heard about it from someone else.
