Tommen is playing with toy dragons while coping with the fact that he will be king, then Jaime comes in with some 1-on-1 time to explain why the Seven Kingdoms are united (basically telling him he needs to be strong and powerful ruler to keep the peace). The story of Aegon's conquest and the symbolism of the Iron Throne is almost literally the reason why Westeros is (usually) ruled by The Iron Throne; I feel like the show needs to emphasize that.

His perspective would answer questions about Lyanna's death, Jon's true parentage (Eddard or Rhaegar's son) and how the fuck he helped Ned to kill Arthur Dayne. GRRM has said specifically on his website that we will never get a Howland Reed chapter, and most likely he will never appear in the books as it doesnt look like Meera, Jojen, Bran or Hodor are going anywhere for a while in Bloodraven's cave. Howland Reed MUST appear in some way. He is probaby the 2nd most badass dude in Westeros behind Bloodraven. The COTF shared their wisdom with the crannogmen and Howland Reed must have learned a lot more on the Isle of Faces. I think it is him who can make their castles move and apparently his magic can kill guys like Arthur Dayne. I think he hasn't acted yet, because he thought Meera and Jojen were being held captive. Does he still think that? Otherwise, he would have made a move at least on Moat Cailin. And if not him, who else would solve the mystery what happened at the TOJ?

Unless i'm mistaken and thats not KL, the show writers are just teasing the show watchers. Cause those dragons ain't coming for many seasons From what I've heard, the dragons will grow to almost full size this season and already start to cause various problems that are described in the later books. Though of course they still won't be in King's Landing.

I really wonder what they're going to do with Jaime and Cersei. It's too late for Jaime to meet Cersei and have sex with her over Joff's body. I can't wait for Khalleesi to take Joel Mormont and avenge her Carl Drogo and teach SerC and the rest of the scum at the Black Water Landings what respect is especially Jeffrey!!! Except Terion lol i like him he's so funny!!!!!

Possibly since there's been possible indications that she's gone off the deep end near the end of ADWD ("a dragon plants no trees"), but it's likely she will in Book 6, if the Mereenese knot has been cut, if only to contest Aegon's claim. I still hold that she's going to die by the end of the series because she's too cray-cray.

I'm not seeing the Red Viper as that charismatic yet, just from the looks of him. I'm hoping for the best.

book 6 is going to be amazing too, double super fun time if they both release around same time...thought it might confuse the crap out of me. when i think about game of thrones, i mix the two up on what happened when (season 3 vs book 5)

A Quentyn Martell scene trying to tame them in the pits and being burned alive while the dragons scape would be crazy/scary/awesome/shocking.

A character the watchers do not even know yet, and who is not being hyped at all, would be a shocking death? I bet they tweak the battle at the wall. Someone we care about more will take on the job of dying fighting Mag, and I bet that in the show version we'll end up knowing exactly who kills Ygritte. Bonus points for if (when) it is someone who is liked as an all around "good person". Someone people are supposed to like killing another person we are supposed to like fits in well with both their insinuations that it might top the red wedding. It also goes well with that quote from Jorah about good and evil on both sides of every war that features prominently in the trailer. Lets not forget Shae. And my own oddball idea: What if they simplify things a bit by killing Jorah rather than banishing him? I think the show might have introduced us to another of their possible improvements over the books (not to suggest these are common). Bronn as Jaime's sparring partner has potential. And whoever was leaking months ago that the dragons were speed up in their growth for this season is evidently a good source. That Drogon terrorizing a shepherd is as big as the more generous estimates of his size at the end of Dance.

You might want to edit your text into something readable :D I don't understand what you mean about Jorah. How do you kill him, when we don't even know where his storyline goes. Bronn as a sparring partner, why not, Wilko is dying so they need to either replace the actor or replace the characters role. This create something quite meta. Now that the actor is dying, maybe Martin will give some of his future part in the book to some other character. Ilyn might be pretty much dead in the book because his actor dies... Very meta.

The producers have mentioned months ago that the dragons were growing faster than in the books. They were already growing faster in the last season, anyhow. It's awesome, but all these sped up storylines do make me wonder what the heck they're going to do for the next season.

They already know how it all ends, and they do have very competent writers who would be able to fill the gaps.

They will have to change large parts of the book 4 and 5 story anyway, because this will be impossible to put in a TV series like that.
