I just explained why, cause grrm doesn't narrate about it in the books.

EDIT: Oh, as in the actual wedding not the celebration. I'd imagine they'd show the wedding to give viewers that false sense of security.

On the other hand, someone already "dedicated" it was Goffrey. As far as i know, Goffrey sent the assassin because he felt bad for Bran, right? Not because of politics or fearing the reveal about his parents. He doesn't even know that until the very welcome and pleasent end. He just thought, he would do the little boy a favour. In which book was Goffrey revealed for this?

In which book was Goffrey revealed for this? I believe in the book Geoffrey overheard Robert say drunkenly that it would be more merciful to have the child killed. Geoffrey was onto that. I don't know who started the fire that was meant as a distraction. Maybe the assassin himself. I believe Geoffrey was revealed in a Tyrion episode so it was probably end of Book 3.

Are they killing Arya off in the show? o_O Probably not; the chapter in which Arya and the Hound reach the Twins ends making it seem as if the Hound killed her but really he just knocked her out so she wouldn't run into the battle so show viewers might think she's dead for a bit.

http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Joffrey_Baratheon Joffrey's marriage is on the first day of the new century. In the morning the Lannisters and their allies meet for a family breakfast. His grandfather, Tywin Lannister gives him a Valyrian steel sword as a wedding present, which Joff declares he will name Widow's Wail. The present from Tyrion and Sansa is a rare book, "Lives of Four Kings" which Joff destroys, by slicing it up with his new sword, demanding a better present from Tyrion and Sansa. Joff swings it at Balon Swann. When Addam Marbrand warns Joff to be careful, since the blade is Valyrian steel, Joff boasts that he is no stranger to Valaryian steel. At that moment, Tyrion baits him, guessing that Joff is referring to the dagger given to the assassin that was sent after Bran Stark, though he is unable to fathom why, attributing it to Joffrey's innate cruelty. Jaime would later deduce that Joffrey did it in an attempt to get "a pat on the head from that sot Cersei let him believe was his father" after overhearing a drunken Robert say it would be kinder to put the crippled Bran out of his misery.

If I recall reading somewhere they said it was actually in the last episode but I may be wrong, it would make more sense for it to be in Episode 10 though simply because the bear scene with Brienne and Jaime will be happening this season as well which takes place either slightly before or alongside the Red Wedding, if it is indeed before the Red Wedding then I could see the title being in reference to Jaime. They might change up the time line a bit though as it bears no real impact on the overall story

It keeps in line with the biggest events happening in ep 9 in prior seasons. I cannot possible see how it makes sense, especially when the last episode is Mhysa which is a Dany story-point. It doesn't make more sense, you just think it does.

All my non book reading friends who watch GoT keep talking about how Robb's going to come back in campaign to rescue his sisters and bring justice to his father. Its like "Oh wtf Ned dies, but his son rises in rebellion to overthrow the evil king". And then he dies. Brutally and insultingly. Plus every fangirl has a massive hard-on for Robb sooooooooooo.

This so much, haha. I wonder if they'll mention the part about Robb's head being sewn onto his wolf and Catelyn being thrown naked into the river to add insult to injury. The RW is by far my most anticipated scene of the series and I do hope they do it justice. I loved how despite seeing that it was a trap a mile away (hell there's tons of subtle hints littered throughout the chapters), it still serves as the most shocking scene in the series for me. Robb dies? mmm okay, I was half expecting that, but Catelyn?! wtf hasn't this woman been through enough.. I wonder if even GRRM could deal with what he wrote. iirc he mentioned he wrote those chapters last because of the dread he felt in killing those characters. Not to mention, he even brings Catelyn back....as a zombie. Seemed like a desperate attempt to get her back in the series, he just couldn't leave her dead.
