What else could it be besides a birthing bed? One of the Kingsguard stab her before Ned could get to her? She killed herself so she wouldn't have to go back to Robert? I always think how convenient it was that he arrived just as she lay dying from child birth. I thought it was because Raegar was too big for her. I need to cut back on some activities... Dude?! WTF? that s just wrong ok, not too big but just too rough or something.

Several nations/armies etc want the iron throne, namely: -starks -the iron isles dudes -the dragon lady and friends -that dude who hangs out with the crazy red head with all the magic -his brother (that he killed but i can imagine they will start stirring up shit later on) -and the imp family (the lannisters?) Other threaths: -the king beyond the wall with the wildling army right? -the zombie dudes (white walkers?) and also, is there a difference between the zombs on horses (who looked different) and the actual -throat ripped out stumbling blood drooling face eat zombies? and who is the dude with the reddish hair who keeps shanking people for the little girl (arya i think)? I guess i missed something there... If someone could fill in the blanks and correct possible mistakes that would be awesome ![]()

I hope GRRM never confirms it one way or the other. Coldhands' job was to get Bran to the CotF safely, that's done now. We don't need a reveal as to who he was. The children say "They killed him long ago", and that's good enough for me. I think there may be a reveal but I do agree that Benjen is too ez. Maybe it is like one of the old Starks who went to the north. I remember in the book something about the Starks who weren't in line for the king in the north would often go to the wall to be commanders or rangers. Either way I think its a great story line amidst a great story. My guess is that Coldhands is going to be revealed to be someone from the Dunk and Egg stories the same way that the Three-Eyed Crow is. Would be amusing/sombre if it turns out Coldhands is Dunk's father. In a twisted, Easter Egg-ish kind of way. Dunk and Egg spoiler (just to be safe) + Show Spoiler + Can't be Dunk because IIRC he went the same way as Egg at Summerhall?

The one at the end who screamed was a white walker. The other ones were just revived corpses. The red haired guy is Jaqen. Arya saved him and 2 other prisoners from being burnt alive so he owes her 3 deaths which he can do as he is an assassin.

I agree that the 4th book was a bit weaker than the previous three, but towards the end of the 5th things really started heating up again for me. At this point I'm pretty excited about all the storylines. Dany mounting Drogon in the pit was a real nice moment for her, as she finally steps up and comes into her own. From now on I hope she will be a badass riding around on dragons and burning the shit of out stuff. Brienne and Jaime stuff is really intriguing, I feel like an unlikely romance might blossom there, and Brienne said she had found Sansa? Can't wait to find out about that. Tyrion keeps wriggling his way out of dangerous situations and his chapters are always fun to read anyway. Would be cool to see him back in Westeros on the side of Aegon or Dany against his own family. Jon getting stabbed had me almost screaming NO! but something tells me he won't actually die. Overall there is awesome shit going on all over, now I'm gonna read book 4 prologue again and see if the description of the assassin dude really matches with Jaquen's. I never really got the signifigance of that prologue before.

I find the Littlefinger storyline really interesting, and I can't wait to see how he is gonna keep maneuvering to gain even higher position. He is already taking control of most of the Vale of Arryn, and with Sansa under his control he will probably try to gain control over the North aswell, somehow. I wonder if he will try to throw in with Jon Connington and Aegon, though probably he will just work on his own shadow game and try to take advantage of the carnage that will no doubt soon ensue. I think she is taking him to get killed/revived like Cat or to start serving Cat or something, I just have a feeling something even worse is going to happen to Jaime.

Zombie-catelyn had said Brienne that she would absolve her from treason if she'd bring her a lannister. That also fits with everything we know form the Alayne chapters, where Sansa was safe and sound in the Vale.
