+ Show Spoiler + The fact that we got to see a little bit into the history of their family was great, the plot while a bit shaky, actaully worked out. The problem with it though is the fact that we do not see any angels or demons other then the "death knight" (Last of her kind that thee arch-angels personal killed off due to their power). How does heaven nor hell feel that power? Also, Castiel super glued onto the brothers, so wouldn't the events that begin to happen (The time jumping etc..) trigger him or at least someone else to act? I don't know to be honest, maybe I am completely wrong and one of you guys can kind of put me back on track and tell me that what I think should have occurred is not the right way. Hopefully next episode they go into a bit more detail but I think they over looked this one and damaged the plot. It is 3am, a bit of a rant as I just got to see the new episode. | ||

I do agree, Swan Song would have been a perfect ending (One of my favorite episodes) but since they did go on I like watching it because I grew to like it so much in the earlier seasons. | ||

Well first off castiel last episode was whisked away back to heaven with the other angel's body(I forget his name), don't forget he and seemingly all the angels are under mind control. Secondly, all the Knights of hell(I think is their name) were thought to be killed off a long time ago, since this one hadn't been, it's safe to assume she has a spell or power that cloaks her so she can evade capture.. I thought the episode was actually really cool and should be awesome to see where the key leads. That being said, the demon trap on the bullet... How did they not think of this before... and if they never ever use it again... it'll really piss me off. Also, the grandfather was cool and unexpected, but why did he have to die off so quick... ugh. | ||

With that being said the more "filler" entertainment episodes do still hold some value in regards to the flow of the plot of the season by adding in small tidbits of story or clues and other small developments meshed in between. one of my favorite television shows to day, its one of few entertaining to watch television shows left on cable. | ||

Also, the grandfather was cool and unexpected, but why did he have to die off so quick... ugh. + Show Spoiler + It was henry's idea, so it's safe to assume that dean and sam just didn't know they could do that. i find that "the men of the letters" thing quite interesting and it opens a new plot personally i still like watching supernatural just because of the overall feeling of the show. the plot changed a lot during the seasons and it will change a lot, but the general theme: 2 brothers killing monsters, surviving some crazy shit, rescuing humanity..it just feels like a complete show and almost every episode can stand on its own. | ||
