AMC is using its biggest show, "The Walking Dead," to pressure one of its biggest distributors, DirecTV, into giving it a lucrative contract renewal. Yes, it's yet another fight over subscriber fees, but this one is threatening a show that 15 million people love to watch every week, and the channel is being pretty explicit about the behind-the-scenes tension. AMC is using the "Dead" as leverage: on Sunday night it ran an ad during the show warning about a possible blackout later in the season. DirecTV ran a rebuttal ad of sorts, disputing what AMC said and suggesting that if there is a blackout, it'll be AMC's fault. The satellite company provides a bundle of channels to 20 million households, making it the country's second-biggest provider, behind Comcast. With the ad and a statement to the media, AMC seemed to be trying to rally viewers to its side. Subscriber fees are the critical source of revenue for companies like AMC's parent, AMC Networks. And how did the girl who got her arm amputated end up dead in the office? First I thought the evil policemen killed her because she didnt want to get raped but that doesnt make any sense because then he 1. wouldve stabbed her in the head and 2. wouldve known that she was lying on that floor. Did she kill herself? Why would she do that in the office? Just to set a statement? | ||

The women are used as basically sex slaves in order to keep the officers happy so the officers will maintain peace and order. The girl who got her arm amputated committed suicide in the leader's office so that she would reanimate and kill her when she got back to the office. It just happened that Gorman tried to rape Beth there, so Beth used the reanimated walker to get rid of Gorman. | ||

Thats what I thought but if she wanted to kill the leader why didnt she do it, well, the normal way? Hide behind the door and stab her when she walks in? The chances of killing her as a walker are acutally quite low. Her main motive must have been the suicide and maybe just to set a statement and for the little chance of killing the leader she must have done it in the office. Atleast thats the only way it kinda makes sense to me. | ||

AMC seems like they want to milk this series and Eugene presents a way to end it. Therefore, I settled on him either being the real deal and meeting his end this season, or he's a phony. The latter just seemed like the more interesting choice and in this ep it became incredibly obvious once I found out he sabotaged the bus. | ||

" <- that part focused way too much on Eugene, showing stuff about him that happened 3 episodes ago) hinted at it waaaay too much. | ||

It's hard to explain how I suspected it, but every single time from the first or 2nd episode I saw them in I suspected it strongly. I think it's because he was "useless", so it fits, plus he would oftentimes talk about how information is classified, and always had a depressed and guilty look on his face (good job by the actor I suppose). Maybe other viewers suspected it really early on too, but I would think that it wasn't too many people; I like to think that I'm smart. | ||
