Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

I've been rewatching X-Files and she's in a few episodes, and I thought she did fine in that. Although not hard to act as a government agent in that show. Talk in hushed tones and act like everything is life or death all the time.
I'm interested to see how they handle the move to the prison with limited supplies and room for people with zombies surrounding them.

Drawings are okay, but unless the series improves drastically, the storytelling in the comics is really subpar. The dialogue is outright bad, and it seems like the pacing is just way off. Kinda like the TV series!
As someone else said, the comic doesn't start off as good as the TV show did, but give it some time, and it really picks up later on. I'd say give it to the Prison Arc at the very least, before you decide if you want to keep going. The comic gets to the prison pretty quickly, as well. Early walking dead suffered from Kirkman not knowing if it would continue or not, so he sorta just sped through stuff as fast as he could back then.
New York Comic-Con is going on this weekend and there was The Walking Dead panel. Kirkman said some characters from Telltale's The Walking Dead game may appear sometime in the future.
Kirkman says that the Telltale video game characters could make it on to the show at some point. Nicotero claims Michonne is pointing to Macon (where part of the game takes place) in the Season 4 trailer.
Also, they are gonna explain some other things too such as why move into the prison instead of Woodbury
And about the new community ... fans wondered why Rick moved the Woodbury group to the prison instead of moving his group to Woodbury, with its seemingly nicer accommodations. Lincoln told San Diego Comic Con fans that the answer will be revealed in Season 4.

lmfao, for a moment I thought the black guy was gonna be the first to die. Damn, they hyped up his death so much just so that some random guy ends up taking his place
I liked it. Engaging throughout the whole episode and much of the dialogue didn't seem middling and pointless. I appreciate the fact that they're letting shit hit the fan real hard this early, but not before showing us how nice life was.
Pretty solid opening episode. I feel like a lot of the characters have found their stride, so to speak, I'm really excited to see how this season plays out.
