I love DiCaprio, such a baller after he started starring in good movies. Not sure how it'll measure up to Winception though... On June 11 2010 13:47 flamewheel wrote: I'm so ready to watch this! It looks amazing. Though I have to say, Hot_Bid's Winception is sooooo much better-looking. Oh you...stealing my thunder.

Although that statement comes off as more general then you probably want, it's insanely wrong. I only say that because you say "suck" as in obviously bad, while there's literally hundreds of movies that are tough to understand, and impossible to understand from simple previews, that many consider captivating. The fact that you judge a movie based on something so detrimental to most movie experiences is in itself counter-intuitive. I mean, do you think a director of a satisfyingly complicated movie would want their previews to not be vague? Is it even possible for a movie of this nature (one like Adaptation, The Escapist, or Shutter Island; all good films differing in both themes and quality) could have a 2 minute spot that isn't vague? Also the music probably sounds familiar if you've seen films like The Dark Knight, Sherlock Holmes, Crimson Tide, Gladiator, Pearl Harbor, or The Last Samurai.

DiCaprio is a professional extractor, or someone who goes into dreams to recover a piece of information for whatever the purpose of having it is. In the film he is tasked with the opposite; instead of removing something from a person's psyche, he has to implant something, which is where the title roots itself. That's much more than you need to know before you see it (you don't need to know anything), but it is an accurate generalization of the protagonist's objective.
