Ripper owens doesnt come on until half way through the vid, they had two singers but the other wasnt really that good imo well at least compared to ripper. Also Doug Aldrich was there as a special guest for a few songs.

Also if someone mentions Rainbow, do you think of Dio/Blackmore, or do you think of the korean girl band group? ... Anyone knows any korean metal bands? (i guess outside of Crash)

You sir, win this thread. Great recommendations. I especially like Red Fang, and The Sword. Sickest pinkey control I've ever seen:

I'd recommend the first three (perhaps ancient) rainbow albums: Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Rising and Long live Rock and Roll. Thank you for uploading that Dio's Disciples video. wow, so there is people out there who actually know a good guitarist when they hear one, Ritchie is easily top 3 best guitarist of all time IMO and is my alltime personal favorite, although he has went a little crazy in his old age with the blackmores night crap he is doing now. Dio in any band was awesome imo although i do prefer Rainbow, but his Sabbath and Dio years were still amazing, am just glad i got to see him before he passed away. RIP RJ Dio.

I also found Protest The Hero, but their singer has a kinda weird voice... not my cup of tea. You'll probably like these bands then. Circus Maximus are probably the most similar to DT, but the others are just great prog metal bands. + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYc0I_RRKt4
