I think it illustrates a sort of dissonance about the scene - TI is just a super-hyped LAN, there's not a difference in formats. It just gets so much attention because it's the big one, the hyped one, and the money. agreed, but i dont think this will be fixed for a long time. valve dont really seem to want to put in the money and commitment to make the dpc prestiguous

OG are the greatest Dota team to ever play the game. Of that, there can be no debate any longer. Its truly baffling how superior OG was compared to all other teams
They understand the meta better than any team this TI: Hit your timing and deathball. Simple as that.

Or hire a lawyer to handle it. Might be cheaper in the long run lol.

The Chinese scene looks absolutely dire now. I don't see them catching up in the next 2 seasons.

OG are the greatest Dota team to ever play the game. Of that, there can be no debate any longer. Still needs to perform outside TI from my perspective. But the past year was without Ana though. Hope they don't just afk till TI. The most impressive thing about their run is their play style. I'm impressed and respect their drafts/strategy. Believe they have 5 majors.
Im talking about this squad of 5. Not the fly version. But if you're talking about the organisation then I agree. Their accomplishments are definitely the most.

Okay, can we have the Post-TI-Shuffle-Thread?

I'm not usually a fan of white suits, but Tsunami's outfit is fabulous.

Well, this was a truly incredible tournament. Congratulations to the Original Gamers for a run we will never forget. See you all soon for the reshuffle, and then next year in Sweden for TIX.

Ah, yes, it's time to ignore double major-winning VG and 3rd place TI LGD.

I don't believe in catching up. I personally think the meta has to have a huge shake-up to level the playing field and then that meta must just click with one of the chinese teams. They have skilled players, teams... just OG has the game figured out this year... and the year before that.

They knew the rule of the games already, it's their job to figure out the game, not waiting for the game to adapt to them.

Does China still have the whole ACE collusion thing? Because that really has never helped their scene.

Nah, LGD was the team that understood the meta the most last year. They should have won it, but they didn't. Just PSG bottlers thing.
