Completely deserved win. Best team in the world!

In TI runs ranking that's what, second place after Alliance?
Probably plays into it that both Na'vi and Alliance roamed in an era that didn't have the same depth and professionalism.

i dont know if this is sarcasm

Fairly certain this is a vague reference to 7mad's legendary copypasta about Rtz.

Alliance were extremely close to losing game 5 to Na'Vi in the grandfinals. Maybe if Dendi didn't get bashed by Rosh that one time, Alliance would have not been champions.

This was a WAAYY more comfortable TI win for OG.

I think TI1 Na'Vi was the most dominant TI win (in a completely different era, but still), this was second.

Nine years of professional play.

Nine years of official world championships.

Nine years of million-dollar purses.

And the GOAT discussion just got laid to rest in an instant.

OG are the greatest Dota team to ever play the game. Of that, there can be no debate any longer.

Definitely, this felt like Newbee's TI4 and Wings' TI6 run after groups. Except that OG destroyed groups as well.

OG showed up when it mattered but I expected a more dominant year from the first back to back champions, it's a bit underwhelming in a way.

I think it illustrates a sort of dissonance about the scene - TI is just a super-hyped LAN, there's not a difference in formats. It just gets so much attention because it's the big one, the hyped one, and the money.

Not that it matters to much to any of us, really, but each OG member won, with this TI victory, more than any other player has at a single tournament.

This constant hunt for superlatives in all sports is so annoying.

Didn't topson somehow mess up with taxes and basically did not see any of his winnings for TI8?
