If anything, Ice and fy have weaker coordination than other 3+4s that are internationally relevant (fy+fenrir have better coordination while Ice sort of prefers to be left alone on an island), but make up for it somewhat with individual skill.

if anything its more of a team's playstyle rather than their individual talents. Everyone has their own shining moments, least to say Super actually. Comparing Super to newer gen mid players like Maybe, Sumail, w33ha, he would at most break even or lose and theres only a slim chance of him ever getting the upper hand in the laning stage. This actually gimps VG's effectiveness as a whole.
Fenrir and fy are doing fine, just that they have too many usual derp moments and just need to cut down on that. iceiceice also shows that if you let him get comfortable he usually becomes unstoppable, but most of the time he just becomes deadweight because he gets starved in the offlane and make either retardedly yolo plays or genius plays.
I feel like if anything VG has to get out of the outplay your opponent no matter the draft mindset. It probably worked for every tier 1.5 and below teams but against T1 teams with competent players and drafts it just not going to cut it. Problem is VG does not have a proper drafter even though everyone is individually very skilled.

But then that could also just be Puppey telling him what he needs to improve.
TBF envy is playing with an offlaner now.

I'm actually not convinced that Secret's the better team after this series.
I'm also not convinced that VG could ever draft well enough for it to matter.

I'm also not convinced that VG could ever draft well enough for it to matter. Their levels of play are almost even, but dog-god is too smart He uses the wide hero pools of misery and himself to destroy people. If a team tries to focus on countering EE and PLD and w33ha, puppey and misery can exploit any weak point that the enemy draft has because they have hero oceans To beat secret, you have to check 2 things A.did you think hard enough about countering your own team that puppey and misery don't have a huge advantage? B. If you said yes to A, can you outplay secret with your draft against theirs? The games feel like puzzles for enemy drafters, and the same srategy doesn't work twice on them. B was easier to get checked on old secret because puppey wasnt the only strong ego in game. Great team to watch

to piggy back off of howie
i GUARANTEE that the last thing vg were thinking is that slardar was going to misery.
and even after the AM pick, i GUARANTEE that the last thing they considered was a tiny toss into crush combo
it was a complete outdraft. then again, secret was outdrafted the game prior, so who knows XD

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding but Secret has this far only played Slardar as a pos3 on Misery. But yea the Tiny was definitely a surprising pick, though it made a lot of sense given the type of game they had to play.

if anything I think VG should go back to maximize their support duo great chemistry with proper heroes
instead of keep on drafting this hilariously greedy pos 4 shit that fy keep playing

okay guys VG lost 2-3 to the team in the best form in the world right now why does everyone feel the need to analyze how awful they are?

but but we're bored on the internet!!! Also my hindsite is 20/20 and VG shouldn't have drafted to lose all of their lanes in game 5 like that.

This. Also, as somebody pointed out a page or two ago, they lost in frigging finals of a premier tier tournament, after beating other good teams. Stop being reddit, people.

It is extremely rare, even in Esports for a player to be at the top of the game for as long as Puppey has. It is quite remarkable.
