I'd say in general don't play heroes who you can only solo offlane; at least in my experience you'll end up sharing the offlane pretty often. Well if you're really confident your team is on board with you having solo offlane then that's fine.
Phoenix being the one of the best example right now of being flexible in a way where if you can play her solo offlane you can probably handle the other lanes as well. Some other heroes play much differently outside of solo offlane.

nyx doesnt need much farm, get manaboots or naked boot+blink and go feast on hero's.

If you build a refresher on DP, and activate it immediately after ulting, do you get double the spirits?
|
No. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Can be an option though to have spirits up immediately after it ends though in late game do or die push situations.

Go Aghs-Refresher Razor if you want a double building wrecking ulti

aghs refresher wrecks everything, not just buildings

Yes, but you don't have time to appreciate it against heroes because they die too fast.

If hero has low winrate it doesn't mean that he/she is weak. And I don't even remember when was last change for Windrunner so it means that hero is very legit.

If you could guarantee latched shackles and hit powershots every fight she'd be a top support, but its just a bit too unreliable. When you compared to something like, say, a vengeful spirit or shadow shaman, they will alwyas hit their CC and do reliable nuke damage while providing additional utility (swap, minus armor, serpent wards). WR just doesnt do anything if you dont get the proper shackles.
I really think she needs a reworked ulti. Just the fact that people dont pick it up until 13 should put a huge NEEDS CHANGE sign on it for Valve.

I have no idea, how many games did i win/lose because of 135 degrees shackleshots from downtown.
And she's way better at sololanes imo than supporting because she needs fast levels, at least in pubs. Ult is legit if you play #1 position.

I was curious about this as well. It always seemed to me it just came down to how useful a shackle is in a teamfight. With heroes getting more and more even farm (multicore and all that) and faster items shackle faces more opposition in the form of Bkbs and less impact if other heroes can step up with items and still take the fight. Uh I'm sure 2 hero shackles are still enough to win a teamfight, but it always seemed like you could really only count on a 1 person shackle at best. So it just seemed like shackle was better tuned against a style that's not played as much anymore.
Also with force staff being nerfed it seems like that would negatively impact WR's ability to position for shackles.

Need some knowledge bomb here:
About quelling blade, is it possible to retain %32 bonus with ranged troll by acquiring the item when in melee form? Is deso is work with qb? (both bonuses applied?)
|
Another one: lets say Void has 950/1000 health and we use a 500 dmg(after %25 reduction) nuke on him. If he backtracks the nuke, considering BT is a pre-heal trigger, hp at the end is 550/1000?

If Void backtracks, he backtracks everything. 0 damage, stun/slow/disable will go through though.

Quelling blade works with Troll as +32/12%, considering form. Ye, qb isn't a buff placer, because of it they work both on creeps.

Void backtrack doesn't work for the first instance of damage when at %100 health. So I assume it can pre-heal a maximum of missing health.

No. It may be possible to bug it into giving you the 32% on a given ranged attack by form switching since it automatically applies different effects to ranged and melee attacks. It isn't possible to permanently bug it or w/e.

In dota 2, backtrack is actually just damage avoidance its not a triggered heal or w/e. You don't take any damage when you backtrack, period

I'm just quoting WIki right now.
Backtrack will not evade the secondary effects of enemy spells and attacks (such as stuns or slows).
Any damage type can be dodged except HP Removal.
So, if you have 90% health and Lina ults you, then you backtrack, you're still at 90%+amount of hp which you regened while animation was appearing.
