Tree just walking in and tanking for ursa would be just as or more effective ![]() Roshan hit destroys illusions so maybe it could also dispel the tree armour with 1 hit, thats why i asked, thx!

1) Tier 1 towers don't have BD protection. Backdoor them. Seriously. 2) When your ult wears off, you keep your current NUMERICAL health. So if ur at say 800/1600 and ur ult wears off, u end up at 800/800 full life. So you can tank damage with ur ult up and it just goes away. This makes soul ring kinda legit. 3) Manually casting your W on enemy heroes doesn't draw creep aggro. 4) Midgame, Farm their jungle. Not only do you restrict their farm space, but you also leave more space for your team. Once you are ~11 with an orchid or even just like treads/soulring they have to dedicate a lot of resources to properly flush you out of their jungle. E: 5) In fights, COME FROM BEHIND. If they engage on you you won't survive or do anything. You need to be killing that squishy cm who just cast all her shit and has 700 HP not getting blown up by that big manly centaur who jumps on you and does ninety-billion magic damage. Double E: afaik there is no clinkz thread ur safe

Next, its easy to counter by the other team investing in midas/HoDs of their own (if you dominate 5 creeps, I only need to dominate 2 of yours to make it 3-2 aka virtually even). Last, you might as well just grab a chen since he's like 3 HoDs. And we all know how fast chen falls off. Mek + Pipe + Necrobook are all better for pushing, gold for gold, in general.

The situation I usually get in is that only me is looking after their carry. And my team is farming - when the enemy has a much better late game setup) Or camping mid / eg. stare-down. In many situations I am not strong enough to gank a carry alone. Usually I am support. Other times the enemy carry has good starting farm.

Your team apparently lost. Is that new? That seems stupid. So I have to play out a game that's purely a waste of time if I don't want to loose mmr and receive an abandon? I was solo that game, still got an abandon even though I abandoned after the guy on the other team had left already

You shouldn't have gotten the abandon if things went as you said. In the end it's just one game.

OD was very good in a passive 0 1 3 + 1 wood as he could really crush his lane and offer a strong midgame with good lategame followup but he really needs those 10 minutes AFK farming. He's also relatively vulnerable to ganks and is weak when behind.. We still see him here and there. I'm also surprised we don't see him more as a last pick against melee heroes like ember or naga. Surely some people can explain it better than me.

OD can't be put in every composition, like, let's say, Puck, Invoker or Storm Spirit, that's it. And he's very item-dependant. Mushi is still playing it occassionally for example, nothing changed in this part. + OD is very immobile hero, that's very big deal in current fotm when supports roam even in pub. + Tranquils/buckler nerf for essence shift really hurt him, so if you're not getting enough rng luck, no way you will dominate as last summer/autumn. Usually you go like midas/force staff/hex/bkb right now, but before midas/force staff OD is basically useless, except for some accidental explosions when he has 100 intelligence and his opponent has 1.
