Getting pt is a must because it gives you the chance to be left alone against most weaker offlanes and makes you safer against gangs.

The fact that anybody can come to your lane and disturb your farm is also a plus to pt. Your farm will skyrocket once you get BF, with or without PTs. Its a matter of being able to help your team if needed, avoiding ganks, and being able to stay in lane that should dictate whether you get boots, pt or delay them to after BF.

If you're expecting freefarm, QB is startitem anyways are so flat out wrong. If you expect "freefarm" you dont buy any items (stout/branches/regen). Obviously this never happens and is a completely retarded assumption to make but you sure as hell dont buy a qb as a starting item considering that it doesnt do anything if you have freefarm. Its A: an item to speed up your farming after acquiring bf and/or B: an item to increase your chance of lasthitting in a contested lane in which your opponent is not able to kill you. (And even then its mostly gotten after boots/pt and pms) So if you were given the choice between entering jungle with bfury, or with qb/treads, you would choose qb/treads? Totally ignoring that bfury is ~4200 and qb/treads are ~1800 you are simply not given that choice in the vast majority of games, if anybody in the opponents team sees you skipping treads or even boots he just comes to your lane and bullies the shit out of you resulting in stagnating farm and into you losing the game. The only chance for this to work out is either: playing against complete retards or B: having magnificent teammates who are able to play LITERALLY 4v5.

Also gives you the option to take ancient stacks and solo rosh later on.

You don't need the lifesteal from vlads if you spend part of the time pushing out waves (since you don't need to tank them generally). Virtually the only value to a vlads is the rosh-killing capability. Evaluate it as such. QB is a given, as is PMS in general. NAKED BFURY DOESN'T FARM SHIT YOU NEED TREADS. What does a completed bfury give you? You can't jungle without treads, you don't farm the lane any faster (I mean, you push it I guess but considering that lane farm is absolutely constant, this isn't much of a benefit), theres just no reason to get it pre-treads. I've done that shit before, it's awful.

Yeah thats 1400 gold down the drain (your claymore omg) but it makes you much more capable of pressuring towers and grabbing a neutral camp here or there on the way to bfury. Also makes you harder to gank, and its easier to harass enemies that show up, and easier to lasthit/deny and in general affect the wave positioning.

What I usually see seems to be Arcanes > Dagon Sometimes I see blink dagger too, but not sure when (before/after dagon?) Any other situational items? Skill-wise seems like max Impale first, Manaburn second, with one point in Spiked Carapace at 4, Is this correct?

Well either you don't go burning build or you live in a different universe. Either way, you happen to be wrong about how AM works. You have the mana to sustain jungling plus farming 1-2 lanes with just bfury treads.

Skill-wise seems like max Impale first, Manaburn second, with one point in Spiked Carapace at 4, Is this correct? Dagon sucks but its on recommended and pubs love that instagib potential. you can get it for fun if you want. Invis isn't reliable initiation (sentries, gem) so blink is super good. However, it's also a bitch to farm considering your job is to never be on the map so that the enemy has to play afraid of you all the time. Mana-burn is like a dagon on 4s cd with extra impact, but its often right to skill Carapace second with only one point in mana burn. Sometimes, your hero's skillset reads "Ravage, Mana burn, Ravage, Invis", and it's important to extend the duration of your 2nd ravage. Especially if you don't have the mana to spam mana-burn in fights, levelling it up is generally pretty questionable. So yeah, max impale, manaburn or carapace boils down to how badly you need damage versus your mana, and for items you want Arcanes, Urn is often really good but only one per team duh, Blink or force is core, both is still good, after that its probably stuff like hex, necrobook, whatever. E: @PassiveAce: yeah Burning build is 1-1-1 then stats + ult, maxing your blink at the same time as ur bfury finishes (this takes some practice to understand when you need to resume levelling blink) and maxing ur mana burn at the same time manta finishes (again, some practice). Obviously you NEVER max spell shield as stats is actually more EHP vs magic damage (after the first point) for most of the game.
