I don't believe they do, but maybe there is some quirk of the way it was coded in WC3 that i don't know about.
Edit; Actually I think they do.
Nevermind. The reason they do is because the +AS portion of AC is based on Endurance Aura. All Endurance Aura-based effects do benefit Illusions, unlike most other auras.

What's the control for the "switch between things you have selected" called? I know the default hotkey is Tab, but I must have unbound it at some point and can't figure out which option it is.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. It's "Control Group Tab" in the lower-right under "Unit Actions"

I believe +armor auras do benefit illusions, but the damage reduction gets applied additively (at the same phase) as the +300% or whatever illusion damage phase, so the effect is minuscule. The only aura effect that I know doesn't apply is lifesteal.
I'm not sure if they get yasha bonus or not.

IIRC, some things (such as yasha/manta) have some things coded as endurance auras with 0 AoE, so only the owner of the item benefits from it. I'm not sure about negative auras though.

I was under the impression that auras work on illusions, but since illusions are getting triple damage from anything it doesn't do as much as straightup increasing HP/stats.
You could get AC for PL or Naga illusions, which gives 5 armor and 15 as with its aura, or you coukld get a butterfly, which gives 5 armor, 35 base damage and 35 attackspeed via agility for the illusions. Obviously the latter sounds much better on paper for illusions.(Tried neither much, so I can't really judge)

Illusions will bestow any auras that the original hero has, however they usually will not benefit from this aura. For instance, an illusion of a hero carrying a Vladmir's Offering will provide the 3 auras (damage, armor and lifesteal) to nearby allied units, but the illusion itself will not benefit at all from the item.
Exceptions: Illusions can benefit from auras based on Endurance Aura, such as Yasha's movement speed and attack speed bonus, or Beastmaster's Inner Beast From http://www.playdota.com/mechanics/illusions
I have looked into this several times, and nothing in dev suggests that this is different in DotA 2.

Shiva's affects illusions because it's an Endurance-based Aura with the attack speed bonus set to a negative value.

Illusions get Evasion as well.

so how exactly does evasion stack? say PA + bfly
|
I believe it's Blur provides 40% leaving a 60% chance to hit, then bfly adds 30% so it'd be 60%*30% = 18% effectively added leaving 42% chance to hit then 48%*30% for another bfly etc.
|
^bfly is 35%

In this same vein, is anyone else but me super annoyed that we can't tab BACK a control group like in WC3? I keep trying to shift tab back a control group and end up opening the steam community stuff... >.> Gets me killed so many times as panda or chen or meepo etc...
|
didnt even know you could tab backwards in wc3....i always went forward
|
It's inconvenient, but never really bothered me.
|
When I kill a creep with Midas, will nearby allies share the bonus experience with me?

tabbing feels imprecise since dota2 has smarter control groups, so there's no need for huge control groups

Never played meepo I take it?
|
You're supposed to control group your meepos into subgroups, so you shouldn't need to tab back
|
True, I really shouldn't have included meepo =p But the panda. Oh god the panda.

Is there a thread about current WCS America? Damn I can't find it!

Like I said. Never played him I take it? The reason is that while you need a control group for each meepo, you also need to be able to tab through them quickly when blink poofing. Its simply much more effecient than trying to go trough the control groups. There is no "ssupposedly" in this game, there is only effeciency. And for several heroes, its sometime more effective to use tab as well as hotkeys
