Specifically for that situation you can stack and pull your wave once and it should push back closer to your tower where you should be safe enough farming. Keep lane static there.

Have you tried burningsera's guide? It has a wonderful picture of wards, including the block wards.

Personally i favor the magic bush for radiant & to the top right of dire pull camp.
Magic bush because it screws the enemy and block 2 camps, and gives decent vision for a block ward.
Dire camp because most people block on the left side, block on the top right will definitely ensure that the enemy waste 2 sentries to counter one ward most of the time.

AOE damage is actually really handy. A single meepo is often hard to focus down because he can be microed away or otherwise saved while the rest beat on you. A set of damaged meepos is much less flexible. A strong set of disables is really the key probably. Earthshaker and Clockwerk generally do pretty well vs meepo with the chain disables and damage. Heroes like Lina also do well because they can aoe nuke the meepos then pick off the weakest one.

Which big mid-game intelligence item should enchantress get first? (of the following list)

Scythe
Orchid of Mal
Eul's Scepter
Rod of Atos
Necro

(After I already have the treads, mek, aghs)

So far in my games, enchantress gets farm pretty hard form the constant jungling and ganking, and I have no idea what to buy after aghs. I literally just click on one of those items at random.

Another question:

How do you use necronomicon? I box and auto attack. Is that all there is to it?

get whatever your team needs. they all serve different purposes, but usually scythe is the best because its the strongest flat out disable. necromonicon is mainly for pushing, orchid is a poor mans scythe if you will, euls is for the cyclone set up/save. atos is the only one enchant would probably not get, although the hp will be nice. and yes, with necromonicon you basically just right click stuff with it. you should get in the habit of using the mana burn on the ranged minion though

It really depends on what your team needs. If you already have an aghs as enchantress, your team is probably far ahead (if its still mid game).

You have to consider what you have time to farm, what items other teammates are going for, and stuff like that. If you wanna push, get a necro book. If you have trouble with initiating, get an atos/scyhe/eul's. Your playstyle and preference come into play as well.

Necro book minions have like a mana burn and some other spells too I think. Just make sure you micro them enough to keep alive and focus fire what you need to focus fire, whether it be tower, creep, or enemy hero.

generally hex euls or force
bkb/linkens/mom are decent too but pretty situational
urn/drums are nice too if your team is missing them

Thanks for the responses! Scythe is most expensive so that usually means a long time with no new items for me.

I'm still beginner and my games involve a lot of unintentional feeding both ways and money just piles on. So affording mek + aghs is really normal for me at mid game, while still not being ahead because nobody can team fight properly or capitalize on an advantage (including me =P)

Almost all of us cannot identify CC's in a team fight. If there's a 2v2 and I initiate with orchid*on someone like nyx, my ally is guaranteed to run away anyways. So is hex better? Since it's a lot more obvious that someone's disabled, compared to orchid.

I don't really agree with this, since the main advantage of Orchid is that it gives you more cost-effective autoattack stats. Orchid is the choice when your team needs you to be an autoattack damage dealer for more than just what you get off Agha. This is rare, but it does happen.

I generally wouldn't get Orchid JUST to serve the purpose of being a "poor man's scythe". It has to be in a scenario where you'd benefit from more right-click stats significantly because that's a very large portion of what you're buying.

As someone already said, check Seras guide for blockwards. I'm not sure if he updated the deward spots yet, at least on Radiant it's pretty damn hard to deward properly right now without having any clue where they were placed -> Guard your jungle and maintain vision of supports. You need to see where they most likely dropped one or at least where they didn't drop one.

For Dire the old deward (slightly lower and to the right of the flame JUST outside of block range) still works, you will need a 2nd sentry however if they blocked at the very top right edge of the possible blockspots.

I believe with dire there is a perfect deward spot that *still* hits the entirety of the camp without blocking whatsoever, but unless it is practically pixel-perfect there is another pixel-perfect ward that will elude it.

For Necrobook keep in mind that you want to use the manaburn of the ranged minion (also awesome to break Linkens) and that you want the melee minion as close to as many people as possible. In an ideal world you'd hit the most squishy enemies with it (or keep it safe because you need the truesight more), if that's not possible make sure it explodes in the middle of the pack.

If you're saying "almost all of us" do you mean you're playing with friends? If yes, tell them to listen to the audio clue Orchid gives off instead of the visual. That helped me a lot in the beginning.

For low level games in general I think something along the lines of Aghs -> Orchid -> AC should offer you the best bang for your buck. The longer disable on Orchid allows you to take something important out of the fight longer, the buildup is awesome as hell and it helps you rightclick. If being a bit more squishy is no problem for you I think it's the stronger (aka more selfish) choice in most pub scenarios.

Got any link to pictures/videos showing that? When I tested it I pretty much gave up on it because it seemed too likely that your sentry ends up blocking your own camp when going for that. lol.

I think I'll have to make my own once I'm home. 5 more hours of work first >_>. It is really really close though. I wish there was a command in Dota to make the spawn boxes draw from spectator mode (and/or with cheats enabled).

Orchid is a serious DPS item. Hex is not, no matter what your main stat is. Orchid and hex both give 25 more autoattack damage to int heroes than others, but that doesn't stop clinkz from getting an Orchid borderline EVERY game. And virtually never a hex, despite the fact that hex is more mana and a slow and stops TP's, 3 things clinkz needs.

it also has a ridiculous build up and is more expensive. if hex was the same price as orchid pretty every hero would take hex over orchid. its that simple
the items are fundamentally different but if you ask anyone what they would prefer it is 9/10 times hex on almost any hero. the only problem is its harder to get.
thing with clinkz is he directly benefits from orchid's individual parts during the laning phase and therefore would probably get orchid even if he could get a 15min hex. every other hero will only pick up orchid over hex when they think it is unlikely they will be able to pick up hex without being useless to the team for 15mins. tl dr; orchid is mainly gotten over hex only because its cheaper and easier to build hence the poor mans hex.
obviously this comparison is assuming both disables are viable, if the enemy has 5 bkb's then no one is gonna go for orchid.

If the enemy acquires 5 bkbs before you can get orchid you have bigger problems than item selection.

Note that orchid is traditionally a first item on a lot of heroes since
1) silence is good for ganking which is a more early-game pursuit
2) the mana regen offered is generally a farming tool on heroes who want orchid (semi-carries/carries since orchid is a dps item)
3) it builds so amazingly well
