Other than stuff like jungle Enigma I'm just not sure when I should be investing in clarities over rushing a mana item or just going for actual items. Is that normal or is it pretty common to only sparingly use clarities? | ||

It comes to a point that you need to decide which one is more cost effective: when a bracer gives you around 110hp or that 15% magic resistance from cloak can potentially give more effective HP by blocking alot of nukes. And then of course the slot efficiency problem. Generally cloak is an item for #1-3 where you more often to see people build them into a hood/pipe later, or the most common naked cloak carrier would be LD because he has so many slots. Otherwise, i'd say that it is a situational item where you feel like that you needed that cloak against oppo team that full of nukers where you had a bracer already (that could be made into drum) and you feel like a cloak is better than a 2nd bracer, especially in the case of playing #1-2 when your income is not looking good but you are forced to join team to fights so a quick 500~ gold investment on a cloak is justified (just sell them later since 500gold is really nothing for a carry). The only reason for #4/5 supports to get a cloak is that you are moderately fat and your team needs a pipe. | ||

Casual cloak on supports was more common when there weren't as many good options for supports, so you often just ended up with vit booster+cloak as cheap slot-filler. Nowadays there are too many other useful items that supports will buy into those slots, so its hard to find a practical time to get one. | ||

 So hopefully u guys/girls will help me out. 1. I play a lichbuild as support for the carries. Now ,do I need to let them take all the xp and gold or not, if so how do i get to the point of mekanism+some research? 2. Lets say i try this lich+mekanism+drum of indurance build.
