Even weaver cannot do anything except shukuchi but he gets dismember invis too There's a minor bug with this in DotA 2. In DotA 1, your Dismember cast could begin while the target was still in the process of being hooked, so if you walked forward a bit, your Dismember channel would just start while they were still on the hook coming back to you. The bug is that in DotA 2 your Dismember does not start until the Hook is over, meaning that if you move forward slightly, you will actually have to turn around to Dismember, which is why it feels delayed. In order to instant Hook->Dismember, you have to make sure that you do not move after Hook (or even move back slightly).

The videos here demonstrate this.

As I play more I've been finding myself buying clarities less and less, I just don't seem to have a situation where I need them. Any hero that has a spell I want to spam I tend to just save the 50/100g and get to their mana regen item faster. Heroes without spam I tend to just use the extra gold for an earlier magic stick to help with mana in fights. Other than stuff like jungle Enigma I'm just not sure when I should be investing in clarities over rushing a mana item or just going for actual items. Is that normal or is it pretty common to only sparingly use clarities? Clarity potions are a weird thing where people buy them a lot when they start out, use them less and less as they get better, and then when you get to high level Chinese players, you see them using them a lot again. They're just generally good if you know you will have some farming time, and need mana, but you don't want to have to go home (particularly if you're on a hero with low mana). For example, if you've just finished a fight as someone like CK, and have pretty high health, but low mana, it's pretty inefficient to have to go home. You should pretty much never have a clarity broken while you're farming a lane anyway, so you can just have the courier send you 1-2 clarities and let them tick while you're just farming so by the time something happens again, you've got mana to work with again.

Ever since Yango suggested clarity ferrying throughout the game I started doing it and I have had excellent results. Especially on heroes where a single clarity will represent 30-50% of your entire mana pool, which includes like 90% of str and agi heroes.

Yeah I've always thought about clarity ferrying more, but more often than not have difficulties securing courier time. I think I get stuck a lot with the trap of people over-using the courier for every little item they buy. I'll keep trying though when the situations are right.

To avoid this trap in the early game, I've been putting minor items on courier, letting them sit there, and using it after someone brings an item to them. In the mid and late game, if a teammate uses courier right as I could buy an item, I bring it back, buy it, right click it in my teammates direction and tell him to reuse it, so they don't really use up time and I can still get my item.

You wouldn't even need to do that if Valve would hurry up and implement the "Resume Last Delivery" command.

Do you all think that delaying overcharge on Wisp is worth it? (as just happened in the TI3 game)
The 40 attack speed seems to me worth it in ganks over .5 second stun, plus the ability to hurt yourself to help heal your allies via tether.

I have two screens and want to watch the International through my dota 2 client, however when i click on an outside window (to surf the web) it cuts the sound and the frame rate drops. Any fix to this?

I just open the stream in my browser in the background. It's a little out of sync but not too bad.

It's in the audio options "sound while alt tab"

Also I would love to be able to buy a key but every time I click checkout it just reloads the shopping cart. Is the shop broken? Stop making it hard to impulse buy!!!!

Is it ever a good idea to buy a cloak, but not build it into anything? I feel like 15% magic resistance is a really good deal for 550 gold, but it's not very slot efficient.
If your opponents have like lina, or zues, i think it's one of the more cost efficient survivability items, right?

I never really looked into Wisp that much, but considering how big of a boost level 1 Overcharge gives and how little Tether scales, I would say that you should definitely get an early level of Overcharge.

tether gets .5s stun per level that's not negligible at all

Overcharge at level 2 always. Damaging yourself for an extra Salve heal early on is too good. Most of the pro players aren't really that good on Wisp anyway...

why did teams not pick razor as a counter to lifestealer when ls was first pick first ban? To my scrub mind he looks like an extreme hard counter since static link goes through infest as well as rage.

Fear of trying something new, scared it won't work out. Or too dumb to think of picking Razor.

Just because Razor is good vs. Lifestealer doesn't mean he'll work well against the other 4 heroes on the enemy team, or that he'll work with the rest of your draft. Drafting isn't just about individual hero counters, but how your entire team comp works against the enemy's as a unit.
Razor DID get picked by several teams where it was appropriate.
