He shouldn't ever get lasthits from Spray, and you should punish him if he tries to lasthit in melee. If he's farming the easy camp, even with Greed, it's still less gold than normal farm if you're denying everything.

So many people adding it (at least I believe so) to their name for fun I guess... and then end up chatting/talking in game. Can people who are muted communicate at all (like if they are captain in captain's mode for example.) I think most of those people were previously muted and just haven't changed their name yet.

That said, you generally don't buy two unless you're somewhat behind. or you're playing a build that is going for something big you have to save for and needs to pad its stats until it gets there (most if these builds are bad in the current game to begin with).

Because if you are supporting properly, you can pool consumables to your carry. Branches and wands don't do much for supporting your carry in the laning phase and your carry won't need as much regen so you boost their ability to stay in lane and farm more easily.

Then I tried playing position 5 silencer, and I realize I fail miserably at it. Without kills, I might as well just leave the game and let my team hotkey my hero for global silence, kinda like glyph. So, I find him to be really awkward in terms of the farm priority he should take- he seems powerful enough if he gets kills/farm/exp, but not powerful enough to battle it out against any hard carry. On the other hand if he plays hard support, he's borderline dead weight, except for the ultimate. What am I missing out? How should I play it to maximize Silencer's potential?

I'm really interested in playing him however- on the two games where I played mid I managed to go 11-3, and even though we lost I realized his damage potential is pretty awesome if he gets the kills. Nonetheless, I was clearly incapable of fighting a powerful naix and a powerful alche respectively. Then I tried playing position 5 silencer, and I realize I fail miserably at it. Support silencer is not that bad roaming early, but he clearly does not bring that much outside his ultimate and E past midgame. There are match up where as support he will destroy the ennemy heroes or some other times he will be utterly useless. It's logic he can't one on one naix or alche. If you have good farm and kills, hex or refresher. I really like refresher on silencer, it makes teamfights some sort of "chase the megacreeps!", you need either a real hard carry or to close the game early.

I understand that it's illogical to expect any hero that isn't a hard carry to out damage naix/alche, but my problem is that Silencer seems to be better suited to having a killer role, but getting all those kills don't help him match up against any late game carry :\

Silencer sometimes ends up with like +80 int in really long games and at that point not many stuff can beat him.

All you need is an AC somewhere in the team, worst case build it yourself. The hero in general wants to teamfight left right and center every time his ult is up. If used properly it's almost impossible to win teamfights against global.

Example: Player A uses the standard courier, player B has a custom courier equipped. Player A buys the courier in game, is the courier now the standard one for all players on the team? If player B, buys the courier, does it appear as his custom courier for him or for his complete team?
