Soul Ring gives no combat stats, so it essentially has to pay for itself based on winning your lane. If it does not make back its value in how much better you do in lane (e.g. if you are 2v1 or 3v1 and you get to freefarm regardless of whether you get Soul Ring or not), the stats don't really do anything for you once laning is over.

It means you're never out of mana though. Pubs are more focused on individual play, and generally more hectic with constant fighting. What's the alternative to regen if you're playing a hero like PL or Sven and dont want to depend on your supports for mana. Stats through drums maybe?

It's a great habit to have that you will see quite a few high level players use, but is woefully absent from lower level play. People end up spending way more on a regen item on some of these heroes than what they would spend if they just bought a few clarities over the course of a game, for pretty much the same practical result. There's a report on the Dev forum about this.

It's almost like having Ezalor giving him mana. I think we went SD/Jakiro to support him or might've even been SD/Nyx. You shouldn't build Radiance on PL. Radiance PL is an old build from when PL had 2.4 agi growth, used primarly for farming faster by sending one illusion to each jungle spot. Now that PL has a 4.2 agi growth, it's much much better to just go straight for Diffusal Blade. Or Drums->Diffusal, depending on how much early game action there is (which there usually is).

razor drains dmg with his static link. can he drain more dmg than the target has (like drain 224dmg from a 50dmg hero)? what happens if his target gets hit by banes enfeeble?

Most of the time in pubs you just want to get Drums + Diffusal, because you will be fighting a lot early.

A bit confused at the question... What happens to whom? If the target gets enfeebled, razor doesn't really care he'll just drain away. If you're asking what happens to a target that has 50-224dmg when he gets enfeebled, well then he just gets - even more damage... So a target with 50 dmg that gets drained for 224dmg and then hit with lvl 4 enfeeble will have 50 - 224 - 120 damage which should show up as 50 - 344 damage. Which now that I think about it would be the same result even if the order was reversed. I think.

Clinkz can win 1v1 vs you so play super defensive, you will have to catch up once he starts ganking

Watch his HP as he does this. Orb-walking only helps insofar as it dodges creep aggro, so in a hard trade where you actually pop Windrun, it doesn't actually help him. It only helps him on harassment and lasthitting, so as long as you don't let him get too many free hits on this, you're fine.

To be honest, I think you might have a lot of success as a pooled clinkz (with regen) if you stand on the direside of the lane, and literally just harass windrunner if she ever gets in auto attack range. Obviously this puts clinkz in a very vulnerable position for ganks, and he'll miss a few last hits, but I think you'll be able to zone windrunner from last hitting, and she'll only get experience. Not 100% sure about that though.

at level two you have power shot and his orb will still be the same strenght, use ur mana and dont fail and miss the powershot and you should be ahead. also as in any range vs range, denies are very important. but as wr you should have noproblem with that since clinkz cant orb his own creeps and has low damage + long attack animation.

Not 100% sure about that though. Clinkz can't play this way because 1) it makes what I said even easier (because if the creeps are on the other side of Clinkz, you get a free autoattack every time he goes for a lasthit because he has to cancel his autoattack, turn around, and then start his autoattack on you if he wants to hit back, which is basically impossible with Clinkz's awful animation), and 2) he still loses hard trades at level 1. Trying to zone Windrunner off like that is entirely predicated on Clinkz being a stronger level 1 hero than Windrunner, which isn't even true. In a hard trade, Windrun outtrades Flaming Arrows at level 1. Furthermore Windrunner has a lot of opportunities for free damage if you play this way because if the ranged creep aggros to you based on distance when a melee creep dies, you have to lose aggro or she can outtrade you with the ranged creep hitting you, meaning either way you take some free damage. She also gets to hit you while you're backing up as the next 2 creep waves are oncoming. There's simply no sensible way for you to play that way because a level 1 Windrunner shouldn't be afraid of a hard trade against Clinkz, and gets a lot of free damage on him due to how troublesome it is to deal with being on the far side of creeps even when you have an orb. Clinkz *can* win the lane, but he'd do so normally--it's not so hopeless for Windrunner that Clinkz can just come to lane and play on the far side of the creeps.
