I consider SF an exception if SF is still farming a lot - the bottle helps clear camps so efficiently and it hurts to not have it on him.
Some people may not agree with me on this, but this is just personal findings.

Honestly at that point you can just ferry clarities. PIS does this all the time after the point where he's sold his bottle, and it's a habit that players should have the entire game (but generally don't).
Plus if you get a good rune and don't want to waste it by selling it, sometimes it's just better to keep the Bottle anyway.

It depends on what stage of the game you are in, generally magicwand > bottle after the early-mid/mid game, especially when you have another bottle user in the team.
You also have a third choice of temporarily dropping the one or both of them in base depends on the situation (sometimes you get an early aegis and you need another slot for TP). Or you can donate the bottle for someone in your team.
I know it is a dilemma rofl.

Just played against a Troll Warlord who switched between ranged and melee attacks to be able to get the bashes off on ranged attacks. Is it supposed to work that way? He got insanely lucky with 3 bashes in a row on me. Ranged attacks. First minute of the game. Fun.

Thanks for the quick response : )

SO that's why he is not on CM yet?

He was also insanely good before his nerfs in 6.78, I imagine Icefrog is also waiting to see if he is more balanced before putting him in CM.

The only reason for a hero to be in DotA 1 -CM but not DotA 2 is bugs/differences in functionality.

I wouldn't trade Gyro for him, personally. So, I don't think he is too strong.
There are better carries.
He has absolutely GREAT Dps, but not much more. His slow is good and he is very versatile. But specially early game he is very very squishy. It is not that hard to shut him down.

Can you crit/ cleave/ lifesteal mini-bash bonus dmg from MKB? And what about pierce bonus dmg from Javelin? Do multiple Javelins/ MKB's stack in bonus damage?

Bash bonus damage does not interact with crit, cleave, or lifesteal. Javelin doesn't either because it's a triggered separate damage instance rather than adding directly to the damage of the attack (need to confirm that they didn't change this in DotA 2). Javelins stack bonus damage if they both proc. MKBs didn't in DotA 1 but do in DotA 2.

Can Slardar's bash crit/ cleave/ lifesteal now that it's physical? (same for Sniper's headshot).
Also, if Slardar was to use MoM, Sprint and activate a Blade Mail, would he return the amplified damage?

Sniper yes. Slardar I'm not sure.
Physical bashes on ranged can lifesteal because they add directly to your damage value for that attack (rather than being coded as a separate triggered damage instance). Whether Icefrog did this for Slardar's bash, I am unsure.
And yes to your Blademail question.

imo it depends on the hero. I agree that generally during the mid-game wand is better than bottle, but some heroes like storm or ta are going to get a kill out of 2/4 or 3/4 runes, so having a bottle left is going to be really helpful.

Troll is pretty good in pushing- or aura-strats with dual or tri core, his ultimate works(/-ed) great in conjunction with heroes like dragon knight, luna or lifestealer.

So chen...
When would I want a wildkin/satyr over troll/cent/ursa, and what should I be looking to do if I get them?
|
stack camps and farm with the tornado for the wildkin. good for pushing because of the toughness aura as well
no idea about the satyr

Early game, you'd want a Wildkin/Satyr if it's your first creep (for a fast level 3 and stronger gank) or if you cannot gank any lanes (including mid and off lane) for whatever reason...bad lane control, terrible heroes, ect. You also want them early on if you're coordinating a 10-15 minute all-in push and you want to farm Mek as fast as possible. The point is that Wildkins and Satyrs are good for farming, not ganking. Also, maybe Yango can confirm this again, but I don't think stacking camps and using tornado is efficient...even from a pure farming stand point. From what he said in an earlier post, you only use it to push creeps or to use if your Wildkin is about to die (example: Your Wildkin is almost dead, you run into Ice Ogres, have Chen tank and the Wildkin tornado before replacing him with a Centaur/Ursa/Troll/Satyr/another Wildkin.)
Now mid game and late game, it's a whole different ball park. Wildkins are good if you need the armor aura, Centaurs are good if you need the attack speed aura/can set up a stun (with RP or something), Trolls are good if you need to net through BKB/net in general, and Satyrs/Ursas aren't really good unless that's all you can get. You can't really be picky with creeps at this point because you typically want to get 3 decent creeps and go do shit.

i recently started playing dota, so you can imagine my elo is LOW. One thing i really dont get is playing Axe. I absolutely destroy my lane to the extent of something like 5-0 or whatnot, but then accomplish absolutely nothing in midgame. Granted my teammates suck, but this is the only hero where i can go 5-0 and then feel absolutely no bite. Do i play it wrong? Or do does Axe lack impact without proper support?
Also whats the counter to riki? He absolutely destroys these games farm or no farm.
