The most accomplished all round player in the history of dota 2
One thing is for certain, when he does decide to retire, nothing will ever be the same again. And when that time comes, I hope that Valve create this Hall of fame thing for dota 2 and induct puppey in it.
I would love to have Puppey attend some podcast again like so so long ago he did (with Tobi and Synderen maybe?). One instance that comes to mind was his description of ElderTitan hero design vs SkeletonKing. It was great to hear his views on the current metagame, patches etc.

I think it was when our supreme captain and his crew attended the Malaysian LAN before the WCA.

This gold is from early 2013. Around the time that ElderTitan (Tauren Chieftain originally) was released in Dota 2.
Its funny thou, as this was 2 years ago and he uses the same example of Wraith King in the interview in Malaysia as well. WK is still in the same position

Chen is the signature hero of Puppey.
I guess Chen is the most famous, but Lycan, Enigma, Enchantress and Dazzle can also make that claim.
it seems like envy has made a style transition, and so puppey has moved on to different heroes too. that's great. i'm interested in how he got doom to be so successful in those grand finals games, i wasnt' watching too closely. i suppose the rest of his team was just owning?

someone in the LR thread wrote a more proper explanation, but basically Liquid prioritized drafting midgame/teamfight which tended to leave them with weak lanes that couldn't properly punish a greedy pick like Doom Heen wrote a blog about it too http://www.liquiddota.com/blogs/505205-thoughts-on-the-shanghai-major-grand-finals
Interestingly enough, Secret have only played Doom vs. Liquid this tournament. Whether this is a coincidence or Secret feels that Doom support is greedy but viable vs. Liquid, I don't know. But based on previous games, when Secret first phase picked Doom + Lion, I wonder if Liquid could have altered their draft to punish such a greedy support duo to improve their game.
